My intention was just to let the people who've gone to the trouble of making the parodies/remixes know that the comment is coming from the person who posted the Jess video. If I just say "Nice job!", it's highly unlikely they'll know who the comment's coming from. By referencing the "original" and including my name, it just makes it clearer.
