I have a question, what liquid product did you use on the clay mold? Was it a softener, perhaps?

What do you mean by liquid product on the clay mold? Do you mean the stuff I use to smooth with? Or the stuff I use to add new clay onto dry older clay? Sometimes in both cases Baby Oil can be used, but I sometimes use Mineral Spirits because it doesn't leave such an oily residue.. but baby oil DOES have it's place!

Hey Cricket, great work so far but is it possible to speed up the timer on the camera and put videos together? If I remember correctly you still have a few hooves to attach and such before the horse bodies are done, maybe start the video after the horse bodies are done since we have watched you work on them for ten videos already. :D

This is actually a commission piece for somebody else. I'm not really sure what Heather's style is per se, but when I sculpt from a reference piece, I try to make it match that artist's style.

Those intertwined legs seem really complicated. i thought this was looking detailed 4 or 5 videos back but now i see so much more detail, could explain why i leave this to the experts like you. great work.
