@11Superguy Price depends on many varibles, but mainly condition. From $100 to $6000 or more. Remember the newest BII is still 22 years old. Gas mileage stock should be 15ish city 20ish hwy. No idea on insurance.
@11Superguy I just got a bronco for just a little over scrap price for 500 it drives good and pretty fun to rip around the gas mileage if your driving good is about 20 to 25 in town highway about 29 at least mine does its a 86 only crapy thing is hub cap for 4 wheel drive....I would say better than jeep when it comes to gas mpg and insurance....help this helped
@aguywitha It doesn't take much really, but it all depends on "how" capable you want to build it. Mine - the blue one - was probably the cheapest build. I'd say with all the mods about $2000, not including the vehicle itself. 2" coils and add-a-leaf, custom body lift. A D35TTB front axle, ARB locker front, gears front and rear, tires and rims. They're alot of little things that are custom built and didn't cost much. Finding used parts is key to cost. Msg me if you have other ?s.
@jtb24x4 Please read previous comments. Here it is again. My blue BII is running a Dana 35 front axle w/ ARB and 7.5 rear with limited slip, 4.10 gears, 2.9L, 5-speed and BW1350 t-case. The grey BII has a Dana 35 w/ ARB front and stock open 7.5 rear, 3.73 gears, 2.8L, auto and BW1350. The camo BII has a Dana 35 w/ ARB front, a 28 spline 8.8 w/ ARB rear 4.10 gears, 302 V8, auto and BW1350.
@psemple33 That depends on what you want to do with it. Any lift is good, but general rule is low and stable. James Duff, BDS, Superlift, Skyjacker are all good. The camo and grey BII's use Duff. I use Skyjacker coils and add-a-leaves. All have bodylifts. 2-4" is and 31 to 33" tires are a great all-around combonation.
@LilBluBroncoII im thinkin of getting a bronco (1980 to 1995) what lift should i get? i will just be goin on the logging roads and goin thorugh a river or 2 but nothing big like deep ass holes and big rock crawling. and what would be a good lift? im thinkin 3 to 6 inch lift maybe? and ya a 2 or 4 inch body lift.
@RCkid8 See other replys to comments for the best answer I can give. I'm no expert by any means. Keeping the tires on the ground and spinning is the key to off road. Only go as big as you need.
@psemple33 If you're asking about full size Bronco, I can't help you much. I know basically the suspension is the same as their little brothers. Stay with a major manufacturer if you can afford it. BDS, Skyjacker, Superlift all have lifts. Any lift that actually increases wheel travel is beneficial in off roading.
U cant go wrong with a bronco 2, the short wheelbase makes it easy to move threw the woods, its very light and if it does break then its very easy to fix. i have a 90 bronco 2 with a 4 in lift with 35in thornbirds and i've never got it stuck! i like jeeps but bronco 2's will do anything a jeep will do, if not more than a jeep. awesome video!!!!
my b2 runs 4:56 with lockers all around 3inch lift with 33s bfg mudterrains 5spd stick and its line x blue and black ill have vids when i get a new camera nice b2s by the way

@GAVITRON100 3" Duff suspension, and I think 2" body lifts. It's not mine so I can't say about the tires. But wheeling with him, the LTB's do a great job overall. They aren't radials though. Even with the 33" Boggers, I've buried it and gotten stuck. I ran 32x10.5 TSL Radials for 7 years with 2" suspension and 2" body with some major fender trimming. You should be able to run 31x10.5 on just 3" with little trimming, or 4" and no trimming.
how much do you think a bronco 2 would be to buy? and if i bought one what kinda gas mileage and insurance would i expect?

@drewb1994 the right carb makes a big difference, but gearing also helps.
