At this point I'll take anything from the Verve!!! Thanks for uploading this. Seems like a definite departure from their normal stuff but sounds good nonetheless. Wish they'd go back to the Northern Soul/Storm in Heaven days myself, though.
I just figured out what I'm looking at... the view through the security fence in the front row. (hehe) Thanks for the post. Wish to god they would play LA already; Coachella was good but didn't quite cut it.
Huge thanks for filming this! EASILY one of the best songs of the night (looking at your footage, I was about 5 rows behind you). They'd be crazy not to release this one as a single...
Love is Noise was done by Richard Ashcroft....when he toured with Coldplay a few years back.He ended his short set with it......Holy Are You is an amazing song.
When the Verve hit the stage they had this amazing song playing over the sound system. Does anyone know the artist and song? What a great bunch of shows!!! I feel so blessed to have seen them. And Love is Noise blew me away!
When the Verve came on stage at Coachella and Vegas they had this amazing sone playing over the loud speaker. Does anyone know the artist and name of this song? BRILLIANT SHOWS !! THIS WAS MUSIC!
thanks for posting this. i saw them thursday in toronto and love this new tune. it's funny how no one seems to know 100% what it's called. i read at least 4 different titles in the reviews yesterday.
It's called Love Is Noise. :) Richard introduced it at Coachella and the Vegas shows as Love Is Noise. Well, they can change it if they want, but I think the name is already out there...so...:)
Glad you had fun at the Toronto gig! They are immense live.
I saw them at Coachella and they were AMAZING! I absolutely love this song. I was already pumped up to be seeing them and I thought that I couldn't be anymore excited until they performed this song.
one of the best shows i ever saw i even wrote it up for a magazine. the only bad part was i didnt buy tickets for the next night. i cant wait for the new album, they sound like they never took a break
Yeah! You are right, they really sound like the never took a break. Unfortunately I won't be able to visit their show, but I am sure that it would have been amazing :)
I was at the MSG show last night too. This song blew me away to finish the show. Awesome. I can't wait for their new album. It's great that despite having broken up for 10 years that these guys still are young enough to just pick up where they left off. They were fantastic last night.
alright thanks for clearin that up JasonHFY. thats what i thought but then someone said "i hope they got clearance for this sample." thanks for the answer i appreciate it
The song is called "Love is Noise". They closed the show at MSG with it last night. It followed "Bittersweet Symphony". Ashcroft said that there were two songs left - a classic and a soon-to-be classic. This one was the soon-to-be classic. It was phenomenal. Much better than the other new song, "Sit and Wonder". An awesome show-closer. They also payed "History" during the three song encore.
this was awesome.... i can't wait for the new record. i heard it's called "love is pain", as well as "modern times".... the latter seems more appropriate. i love the quick tempo! they've finally broke 110 bpms!!!
the show itself, was stunning (making coachella seem less great). the set was a little dissappointing, as they didn't play a single song from the EP, or a storm in heaven (on the setlist, man called sun was listed to be the first encore, but not played).
i heard that they played "already there", and "history" in vegas, and they played "already there", and "gravity grave" in NYC.... come back to the bay, boys!
YEAH!!!THE VERVE NEW SONG,I WAIT FOR IT MANY TIME & THIS HAPPEN NOW!!! YEAH!!! THE VERVE THE BEST LIKE I SAID THIS EVERYDAY :) & more one week the new album release yeah!!! & today is the day that the verve disbanded before 9 years...but now they back together!!! cool! more richards solo career was amazing!
I had no idea they got back together. This band is amazing! Never understood how such a great band could dissapear like they did. Glad to see they're back.
This is the last song The Verve played last night at The Warfield, in San Francisco. I was up against the barrier in front of the stage, so that is why you see the metal circles. :)
After all this time, never that this was your version mate. I have this version on, in my car all the time xxx

MistyMorning89 3 years ago
The sample we're talking about is from Ashcroft's voice(the one you can hear over the whole song!)
100% Verve song!
