Dedicated servers were the best thing.. the only people who hated it were the americans.. being australian i got a 2 bar signal every game because of american hosts.. and the only non-laggy games were moss pit and another i cant remember.. the really gay ones. now i can play with 5 bars properly.. i dont care about how long it takes to find a game. i just stay in the same lobby alot?..

@uzart1 one of the main reasons why mw2 was a whole pile of shit was because Infinity Wards pretty much never had balance patches. When they had one of the "balance" patches, it really didnt change anything.. Black ops has actually balanced things out and are working on fixing the party glitches and others... When i bought mw2 and started playing the multiplayer, there were alot of glitches that were never fixed... Thank you, and have a nice day

Spec ops has its own goals the player has to do.

Multiplayer isn't that bad. Maybe for PC because of the connection issue, but other than that it is fun. How can spawns be perfect on small/medium sized maps? There is going to be at least 1 person around you if the other team is spread out. Almost every multiplayer game has campers. Except maybe BC2. I've never encountered a killstreak glitch.

The 12 year olds however, I can agree with you. They are really annoying. Although the problem is probably mostly on Xbox. I've only heard a few on PS3.

@thecod4guy96 I agree with the tactical insertion boosting and the dedicated server thing, but the rest doesn't really make it a bad game. Plus, it doesn't matter about power like the UMP. That is just it being a powerful gun. If all of the guns did the same damage, then there would be no reason to have different weapons since they would do the exact same thing. The UMP has no range, but is powerful in close to medium encounters. Riot shields: stun and grenades. Launchers, horrible at close rang

@baggedyman its not bad because it was designed badly, video games with multiplayer need constant attention for balancing issues, and no matter how proffessional video game developers are glitches and explotations arise. the reason people hate MW2 today is because when you deeply into the MP aspect of it you realise how flawed so many things about its balance, like Commando launge, One man army grenadier swap.. ect. Infinity Ward did an amazing job, but they didnt keep it balanced in support.
