I remember the ROH/CZW feud. It was goddamn brutal. Chris Hero did a wonderful job as the Anti-ROH leader, and Danielson making his heel turn at Death Before Dishonor IV made the feud all so much better to experience.

I became a CM Punk fan about 4 months ago. It's a shame I missed a lot from his younger days. I used to be an avid WWF fan but I quit watching back in 2002 because it just got old for me. First time I saw him was on the TNA weekly pay per views. Been a fan of his even though I hated the 'straight edge society' gimmick, that didn't stop me from appreciating his ring and mike skills. My brother-in-law is a 28 year old John Cena mark, so this past couple of months have been really fun arguing with him. "Dude. If you're going to mark out for someone, do it for someone who can actually wrestle!"

But they began talking much more about what was going on backstage, made comments about breasts implants, etc. WWF was still very closed back then, they kicked the doors open with what they did.They "exposed" the business in many ways.

I became a CM Punk fan about 4 months ago. It's a shame I missed a lot from his younger days. I used to be an avid WWF fan but I quit watching back in 2002 because it just got old for me. I can honestly say that I was changing the channels one night and saw CM Punk and he single-handedly brought me back. Doesn't hurt that he is extremely sexy and badass either! IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!!!!!!!!

I have always liked CM Punk since 2006 since I started watching the WWE again and I never knew much about Punk back then until I looked at his past matches in ROH and I have been a fan since and for him to be the anti hero now makes a lot of sense. A guy like that should be admired and pushed more often and out of the PG world the WWE is in right now.

First time I saw him was on the TNA weekly pay per views. Been a fan of his even though I hated the 'straight edge society' gimmick, that didn't stop me from appreciating his ring and mike skills. My brother-in-law is a 28 year old John Cena mark, so this past couple of months have been really fun arguing with him. "Dude. If you're going to mark out for someone, do it for someone who can actually wrestle!"

Curtain call, "You were a bad guy, I was a good guy" Also them who first addressed Vince as the owner, not as the comment guy.
I went back to read "unauthorized history of DX" for fun and that sounds straight out of it. lol (Which is good)

2. the curtain call was a legit break of kayfabe whereas Punk's was a worked shoot... the kliq (not DX) actually were extremely unprofessional there and caused a massive uproar in the wrestling industry for it... and not a good one... because it wasn't a storyline... Hell HHH nearly lost his job and was turned into a jobber. There is a difference as Punk was given permission to shoot.

Vince was bloody furious according to all employers that have done shoot interviews on the incident... Remember it was MSG the place his dad had drilled into his head is the most important place and for them to expose the business like they did was unprofessional. HHH was going to win KOTR that year but got demoted to jobber because of it

@Jonoridge They had permission from Vince for a quick run in the ring together. Not for something as big as what happened. WWF was still stuck in it's old ways. And yeah, Triple H was supposed to go big at that time and hell, it ended up starting a certain stone cold 3:16 that year, no? It was like all DX/kliq did back then (and I still love) Give them an inches they will got for 10. They had permission from V mac for a quick hug.

I'm a fan of Triple h since his WCW days (for some reason I can't remember. lol) I know he had a lot of trouble because of it. But they began talking much more about what was going on backstage, made comments about breasts implants, etc. WWF was still very closed back then, they kicked the doors open with what they did.They "exposed" the business in many ways.

Most people just liked CM PUNK because he was against Cena , but when CM PUNK first debuted in the wrestling buisness for ROH , i liked him & still do , im actually happy he changed his Fire Burns theme , when he made an entrance in WWE with this song i knew it was going to be him , his titantron & song go together perfectly ., my opinion doesnt count that much because i am a girl that likes wrestling but all the guys out there i am happy to be a Fan Of CMPUNK & wrestling fan (:
