Whoever thinks this is emo must be listening to a different song. Yes, The Poison had some emo influences, but they've largely disappeared. I'd call this one thrashcore.

As for the song, it's good, but it's not as good as the other songs on the album. Listen to "Waking the Demon," which has some great screams, or "Take It Out On Me," which has a great guest singer. So go listen to those two, they're really good songs.
