Double Agent was OK. It would've been an amazing succesor to Chaos Theory if it weren't for that bullshit JBA side stuff. Conviction....ugh don't even get started on that abomination. They simplified everything and left a sliver of stealth.

@JeffWithAnF does stealth mean killing without spotted or going without killing? in conviction, I can kill the enemy without being spotted, I try ghost style (no killing), but I can't, there are some point I have to kill 1 or 2 guys.

@bruceandiana Stealth to me means going through a mission while leaving little or no evidence that you were even there. And while I like going rambo once in a while and shooting every guard in sight, the best way I love playing is stealthy. My main gripe with conviction is that they took that option away and pretty much forced you to shoot your way through the game. Which in return just turned it into a gimped action game.

at 2:42 in your vid, you can distract(whistle) those two men talking near the first hidden mic. and after that, do like what you did in your vid without waiting them to move(because they are already outside the room searching forr the noise you made there..

i made it in 9:45 with 100% stealth in expert difficulty.

on the first guard, you can throw him a smoke grenade from your position at 0:21 and crouch, move as fast as you can till you reached the parked cars (forget that guy lighting the candle just run to the open door).

Ok, 2 problems with this. Why do you walk the whole stage with NVGs on? Also, you could've killed shetland right there. I shot him through the wall. In the game it also shows Sam grabbing him through the wall since its paper.

Everyone does. 

Splinter Cell "jumped the shark" when they changed the formula of the game. You can just about beat Double Agent without ever using stealth. Splinter Cell without stealth is like Christianity without Jesus.

:o I haven't played this in a long time. Hokkaido was my favorite mission. I went through completely undetected and slit everyone's throat undetected. Near the end, when you reach the room with the 4/5 guards in it and the man you have to kill, throw a smoke grenade in, hide in the shadows, and as soon as it goes off, turn to thermal and slit everybody's throat. I did it undetected by anybody. :) It's a lot of fun.
