  • lol " let mo go pu t on some pants " LOL ROFL ROFL LOL BAHAHAHA

  • my mbp broken within 6 month, they changed the keyboard, touchpad, ram, motherboard...it's pretty much a new mbp now.

BUT...don't buy the apple care, otherwise you won't be willing to buy a new one next year.

  • in Australia, it cost me $448 dollars for this warranty... but i'm guessing it'll be worth it! I've ordered my first ever mac and it'll arrive in a week or 2 hopefully.... yay!

  • PURKESING ;)

  • "oh let me go put on some pants"

    "what?!"

    awesome

  • You're a hot Mac User <3

  • Uh, my Dell came with a warranty that covers ANYTHING. I can bring it to DELL and throw it on the floor in front of them and they'll fix it...and fix it now. But guess what...I've never had to use if for anything. I use that computer 8 to 15 hours a day, and never have an issue. The hard drive is 3 years old and PERFECT. My Macs always have to be repaired, even with the little they get used. And now to hear you say that the OS became corrupted...what? "Holy SHIT!" is all I can say.

  • where r u from? hong kong?

  • OMG i agree macs rule!

  • Is it still worth it if the nearest apple store is 200 miles away?

  • They must really like you, I use to facilitate Apple warranties through CompUSA and Apple would reject so-many warranty claims. It's sad, these people already got totally hosed on a overpriced laptop then paid again for a warranty and got told no by apple.

  • no fucking questions asked?!

They fucking always asked me what's wrong with my iphone 4? I fucking told them battery drops so fast and they fucking told me its normal!?!?

  • @jhonsebastiantv its a software issue, it might be fixed with os 4.2

  • @jratnerd no i updated my iphone 4 last night and didnt fixed it??

  • Apple care is absolutely worth it.

  • how on earth did you have so much problems with your mac -_- that sounds like you don't really take good care of your computer =/

  • Wow AppleCare is that much? I got mine for like 100 dollars at AT&T

    Its worth every penny.

Being able to replace your phone when there is a hardware issue, excellent.

  • @EMCHost apple care is more for the computers. The price of it is different for all products

  • @EMCHost depends on model. the macbook pro is currently 350

  • They have top notch warranty. Would be better if they have top notch products.

  • I would always get it. You will have no idea how many times my Macbook Pro broke down. In the end, they gave me a unibody Macbook Pro (i5) to replace my early 2008 Macbook Pro :D

  • I've been a Mac user since 89, owned one since 94, and am now a business owner with eight Macs in our shop. I've owned 15 Macs. In May, I had my first ever Mac desktop failure, when our 4 1/2 year old G5 got a coolant leak. Applecare wouldn't have helped with that. I've never bought AppleCare for a desktop. The laptops are another story. My Powerbook 170 had problems, my G3 Pismo had problems. I just replaced the Pismo with a MacBook Pro, and I got the Applecare for it. I'll need it.

  • I think Apple care is well worth the price for some users. I would not buy it, but I would spend the time to do all the fixes myself. Yeah, I'm sure they can do it faster, and if my motherboard went bad, I might be SOL, but I think Apple makes good products, slightly overpriced, but good so I don't think I need to worry about it, and $250 can go to something else. Buy laptop insurance though incase it gets stolen! If you don't have it now, I would recomend it today. I've had 3 stolen. =(

  • if i buy my macbook pro at best buy can i still go to apple and get the apple care?

  • YES

  • @NBucketTV yes, it doesn't matter where you buy your Mac, you can still purchase Applecare for it.

  • Can u buy it like a year after u have had mac or do u have to buy it when you buy ur mac

  • Terrible! Your MacBok Pro is faulty as hell! Was it worth it, so much money for that faulty block of aluminum???

  • I paid for an Applecare warranty and they refused to repair it - why, my son is a smoker. Now I know non-smokers are seen as lowest of the low by smokers BUT I paid for a warranty and Apple know that 25% of UK customers are smokers - they take the money and don't include an exclusion. If you are a smoker - don't bother. If you have the chance, watch the video I made. They said the computer was a biohazard!! /watch?v=-1W_TlOhXBE

  • Comment removed

  • still no accidental damageeeee

  • the same exact thing happened to me (i had the same macbook at the time)

  • i also got the apple care but for mine it cost over $350

  • im debating on buying applecare...apple said my deadline is this december ... although im sure its worth it, i'm very frustrated that its so much money...300$. but to break it down, its really 100$ every year....so why cant i just pay year after year instead of all together... damn you apple bastards!

  • this is where apple is like microsoft. they are a bit over priced for such unstable hardware i've known so many people with mac hardware replacement issues within a year.

  • i have a white macbook do i need apple care

  • you dont need it but the investment is worth it

  • good video, im gonna go buy it now

  • You Have a Nice Brother.

  • other than the apple store, did you say Genies Bar? what is that place? is it a resturaunt? what is that place?

  • its like literly a bar where geniuses people who fix your computers are its in the apple store.

  • But are you the type of person that drops your laptop or you really take good care care of it?

  • so then applcare is like a 3 year warranty? i thought it was just likeee uhhh, you are able to call them and get help etc. if its warranty, i think its worth it.

  • have ur mac book have any problem such as platic broken

  • buy apple care from ebay its $120 new

  • sounds like your mac gives you a lot of problems. =( i hope mine never breaks.

  • first review i've seen of someone who actually USED the apple care plan that they are advocating.

    thanks for posting this vid.

  • In ireland it isn't. In ireland theres no apple stores, just resellers..... = pay for labor etc

  • Victoria square

  • its how the manufacturers are actually fixing it with their heart, not just for the money and sticking to the rules.

  • I could just give you a huge hug.

  • did you have to spend money to get it fixed because it sounds like you don't have to.

  • I have a question is it worth it if i don't live anywhere near the nearest apple store to me??

  • 1:47

    "no question assss"

  • Yes it is worth it; i had the version a macbook pro and the logic board died 16 months after puchase; replacement price? $2500; price of a new machine.

My new machine needless to say has apple care.

  • Applecare is worth the price.

You have no idea how many people have problems with their Macs.

Makes me wonder what is going on at Quality control.

  • Well if those were within the span of one year that would ALL be free no questions asked... Except for the phone support, but it's quicker to go to the store anyway.

  • thanks my original is almost up

  • did you loose all your documents of your hard drive?

  • no questions asked???

    lucky u

  • @igniar I agree. You have no idea how many times I've had to say "That's not MY milf pr0n. It's my buddy's. He must've been messing around on it. Hehehe. Um...yeah..."

  • Do the Workers at the Apple Store Smile?

  • lol

  • my sony lap top still running strong and i got it in 05,not 1 problem :o

    lulz

  • any way i clicked on your page from Macbookair15:)

  • all that said, I just wish they wouyld drop their prices, and put more ram in their mac book pro and a quad core, prosesor and and bigger hard drives all and all i just wish their prices were better, I only intended to spend a max of 1000 dollars and I ended up droping 16, to 1800 for the 3 year warenty and vyres protection, and then a mistake i made messed up a partitions part of the hard drive, and i had to spill 50 bucks more case it was not covered on the soft ware warranty.

  • I want a mac, for at least 5 years now I have wanted one more each year; but I have never been willing to splurge, as munch as i think I could probably get more out of the 1,800 give or take a hundred or so dollars I forgot how munch exactly i spent on my computer if i put it in to a mac, I would have actually had to spend another 1,500 minimum on top of that to get close to every thing I would want my mac to be, and I don't have that, and never have.see next comment...

  • from my last comment... I do, and I have a HP and it has a Quad Cor Processor , 6gigs of ram,a and a 600+ hard drive. while its the best working computer i have ever had. I know that I am not getting every thing i want out of it. see next comment

  • that last part was pretty funny.

so when your surching for friends on myspace, etc do windows pop up telling you your computer is infected etcs and try to make impossible to tell the difference between an internet add and your computer windows software windows etc

  • This is exactly like Blue Hours video

    But still good video

  • Because this video is a video response to his video.

  • Yes! If you own any laptop from any company you should get the extended warranty. Laptops statistically will need repairing! And its EXPENSIVE out of warranty. This is not an Apple thing, its an EVERYONE thing. Keep in mind you have one full year of use before you buy the Applecare extension. Spend that money before that first year is up!

  • "This is not an Apple thing, its an EVERYONE thing."

Yeah right, with that money I can buy an off the hook alienware computer.

  • wow great $1500 computer just two years and it's falling apart.

  • HAHA! I'm going to go to put on some pants! HAHA!

  • Cool, that just makes me want to get apple care.

  • I just got a new gateway laptop with windows vista from Radioshack and I bought Radio Shack's 2 warenty for $139.97. it is worth it.

  • you are sending a message that Macs got low quality...lol

  • no pants? lol

  • I'm studying in England now. And next to my 15% discount on all Mac products I also got AppleCare for 46,- pound!!

    Yay me~~

    better safe than sorry!

    I agree with your conclusion!

Always get extended warranty... you just never know what's gonna happen!

  • yes it's worth it!!!

  • applecare ftw!

great video, hopefully people won't be cheap when it comes to protecting their investment.

  • lol loved the ending

  • you are such a hot little box of general tso's chicken! I will eat you like chow mein.

  • ooook....

  • I've only had 1 problem with my mac in 5 years, and it was my own fault that it happened..apple's are really durable products

  • You can get apple care for you up to $100 less on ebay. So applecare is def worth the $150.

  • always happy to see videos from you. just wish you would make more.

  • damn.. you are unlucky.. no problems for me after one year.

  • "no questions asked"

  • say if my hard drive failed (hope not) would they replace it with the same size or could i ask for a larger hard drive one

  • Great video...

  • hey i gotta go put on some pants too lol

  • is it possable to buy applecare after the macbook is already broken? i need a new top case

  • i would not think! lol

  • I thought Apples were made much better than the PCs?

Sound pathetic if you ask me. Sounds like there built real cheap.

  • Yep they ae. It's just *in case* something happens to it. like you fry it, somehow. Pcs just get damaged A LOT easier, i switched to a mac a year ago today, form been living with PCs since then, and I'll NEVER switch back.

  • I totally agree with you Candice, at the end of the day it is piece of mind, should anything happen to it you are covered and if nothing happens then you are luck, hindsight is a wonderful thing. Fantastic video Candice and a massive help to new Mac owners and potential Mac owners

  • Nice, i cant believe that all that went wrong with ur MacBook. Glad u got it fixed, i will remember that when i get to purchase my iMac or MacBook.

  • Wow I guess I'm lucky, never had anything like that happen to my computers

  • its only worth after it breaks most ppl find out

  • Yeah I agree with you, its a life saver

  • Great video...i was on the line about purchasing the Applecare. My only problem is, there is no Apple Store near me. So how do i get the most out of the service if icant just walk into the strore???

  • thats the same issue with me, but if you contact apple, they will send u a box and all you have to do is put the laptop in the box. Shipping is covered. They will get it back to you VERY quickly.

    Check out my vids :)

  • I highly agree. To me it was peace of mind.

  • This was a nice surprise Candice. On break right now, I boot up the MacBook and I have a short vid from you in my sub box. Thanks Can...... Going to have to get apple care now. Don't I have a year to get it?

  • You hvae to make sure you buy applecare within the free one year you recieve when you bought the macbook otherwise you cannot buy it

  • Haha that was so funny at the end xD My trackpad is no longer fully recessed into my MacBook Pro's enclosure but I'm covered by Apple Care so looks like I'll be heading down to the Apple Store sometime soon.

  • nice quality appel

i have 4yo acer and i do not have such problems

  • Buy it on ebay

  • Nice video, but I don't own a Mac.

  • Good to see you making videos again Candice.

  • me who though Apple stuff were more reliable than the PC :D

  • 100% worth it. even if you only use the phone support.

  • That's exactly what I think. AppleCare is, to me, the best warranty for any electronics. They have great support, they are really kind, and they are literally geniuses. It is pricey but it is definitely worth it in the long run. Well put video Candice!

  • Had to laugh at the end of the video hahaha.

    wowowow

  • i think its worth it. maybe not for the CD's as you can just download it. However the extended warranty is defiantly worth it!

Great video. Havent seen you on YouTube in some time :)
