FMA(in this case mostly Brotherhood) was, and still is for me, the best anime ever made and the best manga ever created because it doesn't only teach us one lesson, it teaches us several. And it gives us a good laugh xD

@greekmuser Exactly, I think that anyone who watched FMAB they'd like... fall in love instantly like I did. The author of FMA must really be a great person. Nowdays we don't see much thing likes that. Maybe it's just drawing and words, but it does hold a meaning, for ex. "zen wa ichi, ichi wa zen" (one is all, all is one) the meaning of that is something long forgotten, i think that it is really nice to know that there is someone out there that still cherishes that lesson.

@MeyuTsumiru The author is Hiromu Arakawa & it seems like she has studied a lot because after watching fma I found that the information given in the anime about alchemy is acccurate :) there's also great symbolism in the anime as well :) Ed's hair colour stands for Gold,his watch stands for Silver but I can't remember what his red cape and his black clothes stand for.well,my point is that Arakawa put lots of knowledge in fma and used it correctly making it awesome and gives food for thought ^^

Something I didn't understand in Brotherhood was why Roy wasn't allowed to toast Envy to death...? Somebody knows?

@NoggexTV Really there is no reason objectively, he killed Lust and there is no moral concern if he kills Envy too, really he would have been doing both out of revenge too

The reason everyone was subjectively concerned in the scene was because of the anger he was killing with, they assumed if he killed Envy (knowing Envy was the killer of Hughes) that he would continue on a path of vengeance, since he was supposed to be the new Furher they didn't want him to carry that with him

I started Brotherhood a year and a half ago after watching the first FMA during high school, so when I heard that Brotherhood actually followed the manga I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It was wonderful! But then school started again and I was put off from it with just ten episodes left, too! I finally finished it just two days ago and I so want to go back and re-watch it. I feel like I'll appreciate it more and also understand its depth if I do.
