i don't know if i had the courage to watch this movie. seems like a horror movie for me.. with the sentences "we can only stop war with war" and "kill! kill! kill!" and such.

The only thing that has always bothered me about Chinese action movies is the special effect sounds they use with swords, it sounds so bizzarre and unrealistic haha (like the sounds you'd hear in an anime).

After Mulan kills and defeats the Rouran leader, Mendu, she returns to her home village. Wentai pays her a visit, and asks her to elope with him. But Mulan convinces him that they must part ways and stay as friends (He is supposed to marry the Rouran Princess) in order to keep the peace between the Northern Wei Dynasty and Rouran.

@watedu Yeah they do...They sing a war anthem while their comrades are being slaughtered mercilessly in front of their eyes. This isn't like the Disney version, all fun and games and hardly anyone dies, this is Chinese history, a movie about war.

Mulan is a very inspiring woman. i LOVE her with a passion O_O that doesnt make me weird. lol. but she is soo great and perfect in many ways unexplained and explainable. she is aaaaaaaMMMAAAAZZZIIIIINNNNGGGG­GG!!!!

I read Zhao wei's tweet on Weibo and she mentioned going to Marie france bodyline for her slimming salt treatment.. said the treatment involves beiong rubbed with sea salt and then wrapped in a hot plastic. Makes her feel like a baked fish. :P
