The plot twists are all predictable and sometimes I have a weird sense of dramatic irony... That's cool and all, but it's not a comedy people! Some times characters need common sense!

I know I'm way to late, but the only part of the letter I would have left out is the "if you want nothing to do with this" part, but that's just me. I've never been big on helping make a rejection easier. I can't wait to see the number of pogo-stickers "practicers" increase in the coming weeks. After a few rejections, I've learned to NEVER do that sort of "it's cool if you say no" disclaimer. I do, however, always end any requests thanking the person for at least taking the time to read/hear me out. Works much better.

@Andileru I think a lot of it has to do with trying not to make yourself seem too confident and it simply makes you sound weak instead. When really there are plenty of ways to avoid overconfidence in letters and applications and such. A lot of times people probably don't even realize they are doing it but set themselves up for failure. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way too. And yes, absolutely, express thanks often but not too often to the point it seems insincere :)

The vids get an average of 30 to 50k views. Sometimes even less.

A LOT of people just press the [x] when they see a pogobat video in their subscriptions box.

Most partners get fewer views than they have subscribers. Many of my subscribers come from my Rubik's Cube videos and aren't really that active on YouTube... at least that's what I tell myself... when I'm not busy crying... :P

@eternaldialogue The subscriber to view ratio for established YouTuber's is a vexing problem. It is affected by several factors. YouTube never deletes subscribers, even if their accounts are closed. Therefore the longer someone is on YouTube the more likely their subscriber count is inflated. This is a YouTube problem. It is out of the control of Dan Brown or anyone else.

Don't worry about subscriber count. Watch videos you enjoy. If someone has 250,000+ subscribers, let them brag. I would!

Many don't come on youtube all the time, do not see his videos in there sub box(like me, having over 200 subscriptions means you aren't going to see even 1/4 of the videos your subscriptions make) and many miss episodes, like are doing something else when they see it and the next time dan is in there sub box a new episode is out.
