hey adam are you majoring in music? do not let your god given talent go to waste we need more young talented men like you in this world when you can keep this ole 80 year old toe tappin you know your music is needed thanks again
where is adam now is he still rattlin the keys what a talent does he travel where if so it is 2011 where oh where is this fantastic talent????????????
I so wish I could have been playing this kind of music when I was taking lessons at that age. Instead I was stuck with the John Thompson course. YUUCCCCK!!. This song is great and well played! Great Harlem period sound. Where oh where did you get the sheet music? I've looked everywhere. Or did this talented lad listen to the roll and play it by ear? TDub??
Thanks, TDub. Got a quick answer from Adam. This song was never publilshed, he learned to play it by listening to the roll. Makes it even more amazing!! That's takes real talent!!
This boy is awesome he looks so relaxed palying it is just great to be able listen to him play. I have ragtime fan for a long time and love to see young people enjoy it as well
I first heard this tune on a GREAT CD of piano rolls called "Boogie Woogie Blues" put out on the Biograph label. (If any of you Youtubers don't have this album already, I recommend you go run and get it right now because it is FANTASTIC!) Anyway, I am glad that Adam has learned and is playing this tune, because it is a really good tune with a great melody. I don't think it was ever published, either, although Bob Pinsker has transcribed the roll and a recut of it is available from BluesTone.

Fantastic. This kid is from another planet where everybody plays piano instead of eating and breathing!
