He's not only a brilliant singer but he's a an awful nice guy too...and not a strain to look at...watching his vids and listening to his voice brought tears to my eyes and gave me gooseskin...
To think he got his fame by the flip of a coin...thank God it was in his favor!! God made sure of that one! And yes he is married......he's got a great talent, lucky wife....keep it up Paul...you have what it takes!
What adorable human being, if he married, I be on the list, this man is pure love and tender character, I take my number, and which number would be, Paul, consider me in your waiting list, Love you man.
Looks like, the Diamond, has shined through. Right, I'm going to get his CD and I'm into Hip hop, soul lol. But hey, music is music. This guy is talented and has amazing story.
Passione reflects the study and dedication that Paul put into making it. He has grown as a singer, and maintains the ability to convey the feeling of the son to the audience. Well done, Paul.
In two years, he is were Povorotti was after fifteen. What a remarkable young man with one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in many, many years.
OH my, what a difference two years can make in a person's life!! And, the best part, Paul is still the same Paul, only a little more "in tune" with his own life. He truly conveys the meaning of success is based on a passion in anything one does in life. Thank you Paul for your passion.
Now there you have it. People who haven't ever been to a single opera performance want to convince us that this poor amateur singer will be the next opera star. Sorry to disappoint you, he's not even good enough to enter music college. And, if Nessun Dorma is the first opera aria you've ever heard of, I'm really sorry for you. Well, Potts is earning millions, and that's why you're kind won't go to see the real good singers. Poor guy, he is, poor people, you are...
Generally I like Kaiser Chiefs, Beatles, Maximo Park, even older Northern Soul stuff, but after listening to Paul I have broadened my tastes and I'm quite partial to a bit of his music now ;)
I'm not sure how to link moments in the video.. but your comments from 3:05 - 3:33 are exactly how I have felt about music for so long and always try to convey to people when asked what I think of music, but never had the words.
Music, I think, a divine language. And by singing with your passion and your soul I think you are making others feel that same beauty.
Keep singing.. everything. O Holy Night was amazing.. more religious melodies.. more adaptations of beautiful songs.. anything!
Paul, no other singer has moved me and my wife as do you. We are powerfully affected by your voice and the great struggle in your personal life that you and your wife have had to overcome.
Like many others, we have struggled with heart-wrenching challenges, losses and other obstacles in our lives. So, as we have learned about the health problems, debts and other adversities you and your wife have overcome to be able to live your dreams today, it inspires us.
Washing down my patio here on a bright California morning getting ready to celebrate Mother's Day while listening to "Passione." Thank you very much for "Una Furtiva Lagrima." That one is my favorite and you know "Mamma" will get a lot of plays today. Just right for the occasion. Have a beautiful da and a beautiful life, Paul and Julz!
I bought the whole album on I-Tunes. "Una Furtiva Lagrima" was listed as one of the "Passione" selections. It was, however, the only selection listed as "ALBUM ONLY." You could not buy it as an individual selection the way you could the others. I bought the whole album for the album price of $9.99 and the aria was part (or maybe it was a bonus cut) on the album. Hope that helps.
To describe you I would have to say extremely articulate. You have an amazing past, voice, personality, and hopefully future. Good luck my friend and my we meet in the near future.
You've come a long way. Your technique and your voice have improved beyond description in the last 2 years. I wish you only the best of luck. If you keep working on yourself as much as you do now, you will make yourself an indelible part of music history. Of course, that will take few more decades of hard work.

I love my Passione cd as well! If you don't mind my asking, I wondered where you bought yours as mine does not have Una Furtiva Lagrima on it.
