@loewenclass Go to the website of the Mises Institute and search 'Bailout Reader'. There you will get the clearest and most succinct explanation of the economic recession of 2008. I myself have learned a great deal from that website far beyond a mere explanation of the financial crisis. I'm disappointed that most people just blame everything on that wonderful strawman, GREED! I find that such an anti-intellectual and corrupting thing to say.

@truevoice08 What is your actual critique of Walden Bello? Simply stating that he knows nothing about economics, or that he adheres to a dead ideology is not a substantive critique. These are just ad hominem attacks. If you explain why you think he knows nothing about economics, or the "real world", or why Marxism is a "dead ideology" then that is a rational, substantive critique. Without the why your critique is straw, is it not?
