I really miss her convicting songs! They inspired me and still do, to live for the Lord in this "Fallen World". Jesus is love. He loves me and Jennifer Knapp, even though we are gay. We should all ask for forgiveness when we hurt others, not when we love others- even if they are of the same gender. I am also a middle school teacher, a first-generation college grad, the oldest of four, and a deacon at my church. All of these labels are more important to me, and more indicative of who I am, than the gender of my fiancee.

People, don't be ignorant. Don't assume you know for a fact that being homosexuality is a sin. You obviously did not choose to be heterosexual. Realize what you are saying. Realize that teenagers read this and see how hurtful the Christian faith can be and know that you can easily cause that teenager to go over the edge and attempt suicide. It's not fun being gay and to assume it was a choice is just plain ignorant. Please, just let people be and let them love God without fear.

The Greek word only later translated to homosexuality appears only once or twice in the writings of Paul and even most biblical/Greek scholars nowadays think that was a mistake in translation. Funny how different translations don't say homosexuals but you chose one of the few that does because it suits your bigotry. I doubt you care enough about the Bible to read it in Greek, though. You only use it to justify your hate.
