Je n'ai rien contre Tecmo, mais sur ce coup là, ils on fait fort ! Ne sortir ce jeu qu'au japon premièrement, mais en plus sortir ce jeu sur Wii ?! J'aime bien Nintendo, mais je préfère largement Sony ! Je suis tout simplement déçu... Ils aurait mieux fait de le sortir sur PlayStation 2, pas sur Wii... Et, j'ai bien dit PS2, pas PS3 ! Les graphismes de PS3 je déteste ! C'est trop clean, fluide, réaliste ! C'est certainement pour ça que Tecmo est parti avec Nintendo.

sooooo.... to have this game in the first place, you need an "imported japanese WII" as well as the imported "Fatal Frame Lunar Eclipse" so how exactly am i gonna get or do this patch thingy? id like love to know because ive got a few things in the game that id really like to read and understand. =/

and follow their instructions. You can also go to: Cameraslens . com (google Beyond the Camera's Lens if you dont feel like copypasting it) for all your fatal frame needs too. There's a forum section devoted to helping you run the patch if you're having issues. Good luck!

Guys, you don't need the original disc. There's an iso on the net that has the patch put in the game, which allows sneaky little pirates to use USB Loader GX.

God, the patch doesn't work on my Wii... It says "THIS WII CANNOT OPEN THIS CHANNEL" and the channel logo is a giant question mark. I have version 4.2U, so I don't know why it does this...

Gah can anyone help me? I'm running this on 4.2u with USBLoader GX. I installed the patch apparently, it loaded some files off my SD card per GamesTorrents(dot)com, it even went to the black screen, claimed to have found the files etc. etc., press HOME to complete. My game is still in Japanese though. Is there an option to enable somewhere?? Thanks!

yea, that's what it said on play-asia. I got my copy through a local gameshop but they had to put an order in for it cause none of the local vendors had it in stock. Think about it though, nintendo published it. The game didn't sell too well and they aren't publishing it outside of japan so I wouldn't be surprised if it has been discontinued. Nintendo is a penny pincher when it comes to these things. It sucks for fatal frame fans.

@hardgayramen4ever yeah, i'm kinda late to respond to this but even though this game is only for Nintendo, it's not a Nintendo original. Tecmo and Grasshopper Manufacture Inc., both of which are two Japanese gaming companies, also helped create this game so it's not really Nintendo's fault for not releasing it in the US. All three companies have to think of it and agree to release it in other countries. It's not because it use to be a PS2 title. In fact I think you can download one on 360.

it's a miracle! finally i can enjoy a game in japanese! it's pretty rare since most ported japanese games are translated to spanish, french, english, german etc.... be happy to get a Wii as soon as possible when the patch comes!

The english patch is for Fatal Frame 4, i read and asked for it! They said it will be out in 4 march 2010. The english is only subtitles... Too bad language still Jap. But you gotta read the subtitles quickly, yes! It'll be 48.00 US Dollar, and 39.99UK Pounds, and 200.00 Dhs. yep i asked for them all! Hope you're surprised...

the patch is completed, however, i think maybe it'll be released on Christmas, as a Christmas present.

As of now, it's assumed that no matter if your Wii is English, European, or Japanese, it will accept the English patch, as long as you have an SD card. I do not have the specifics.

If you go to google and type in "fatal frame 4 translation" the first website that should show up is the one with the patch. Click the button downloads, and it will tell you if it's released.

As far as i know, this patch will only work with an original copy of the game. I don't what the patch creators are thinking but i doubt that there are enough Zero4 in japan for the American and European fans. Not to mention that since its an import purchase, problably you will pay for import taxes which may cost a lot, even more than the game. It's sad :(

Sorry for maybe asking a stupid question, but.How does this work?I was terribly disappointed when I heard that this game was not coming to America. So I contemplated getting the game off of the internet as well as a freeloader. The only problem was that I can't read Kanji yet and I'm not too fluent in Japanese. So is this something you download? How would I go about getting this when it's made available? I would very much prefer Japanese with English subs to avoid any shitty dubs (Fatal fame 1)

It will be downloaded and installed to an SD card, which pretty much you follow the instructions and the patch will load the game for you (on any region Wii) without modding the console. The Kanji will be replaced with english subtitles like in the video, the voice acting will be the same.

the patch they used for this video (i think) is from cameraslens(dot)com, but its not quite finished yet. the way it would work when its finished is that all the written words would be in english, but they will still be speaking japanese. you would have to buy the regular game from japan, then download the patch on your wii.
