  • @trainfart Many thanks for viewing and your comment. MIke

  • very nice video, glad you hadn't packed away like I did when the convoy followed, maybe the chat with Chris, I also heard the hissing noise at close range, didn't seem to detract from the performance, lovely, cheers.

  • @noelist Many thanks Leon. Having watched the Scot disappear up Shap I could hear the 66s as they were so close behind.

  • Fantastic camera work Mike, this loco is certainly in great form now, and the added bonus of a diesel convoy as well....Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks Bob. It was good to see the Scot back in action, although many linesiders seemed to think there was a steam leak somewhere.

  • Another brilliant video,it was a great shot thru Scout Green & catching the 5 diesels as well was a nice bonus (C&A) "liked"

  • @EMuksteam Many thanks C&A. The 66s could have only been 1 block behind the Scot. Mike

  • Still a very nice video. Thanks Mike.

    Philippe

  • @PhilbruProduction Many thanks Philippe. Mike

  • Great shots Mike , the Scot looked superb in the sunshine even with the odd sound from the Scot, I like the position you took up at Shap to give such a long superb pan. Regards Steve

  • @TheStephengthompson Cheers mate. I like the 2nd spot, and on less hazy day and with good exhaust you see the climb beyond Shap Wells

    regards MIke

  • Excellent Mike. I knew you'd do a good job on Shap and thanks for the chat there. Chris

  • @khankadet Thanks Chris, you're too kind. Sorry yours didn't work out. Enjoyed our chat. MIke

  • An excellent video of this railtour.

  • @allan5919 many thanks for watching and your comment, Allan. Mike

  • Brilliant day - and a superb video

  • @davidhst125 Thanks Dave, pleased you enjoyed it. MIke

  • Nice one Mike, she did sound a bit odd at Leyland but it didn't seem to affect her performance. Definite overkill with those five 66's as insurance!

  • @acw71000 Cheers Austin. The crew were clearly trying to make up lost time, although I understand there may have been a little diesel assistance in the hills.

  • Lovely video, Mike. I think these two clips show the Scot at her best today and the shot at Scout Green from that side is awesome. Thanks for sharing - Frank.

  • @TheDoodyman Thank you Frank. The 2nd spot is a little challenging to get the panning right, but on a day when there's plenty of exhaust you can follow the loco beyond Shap Wells

    Nice to hear from you

    Mike

  • Excellent work Mike the Scot was thundering at Leyland and was looking splendid on the distant shot at Scout Green. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers Phil.

  • @981smithy Thanks Phil. Certainly trying to make up lost time at Leyland, although reports suggest the 47 helped a little up in the hills.

    regards Mike

  • well captured...and a good cause

  • @howarth004 Thanks Dave. From what I've read, it was a very successful day for the charity. Mike
