I love the Anita Blake books from Laurell K. Hamilton. I have the books 1-7 in german and now i wait for the other 8 books from her. But now i buy the other serie from her with the charakter Merry Gentry. (i know my english is really bad) My favourite writers are Laurell K. Hamilton, J.R. Ward, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, Anne Rice and Jennifer Armintrout.

but am slightly disappointed that after a certain point, Anita stops raising zombies as a main feature in the book, she kinda fades into the whole "realtionship/love life" thing and that fact that she's connected to the vampires rather than doing that AND the zombie raising? I might be rambling a bit now but whatever, personal opinion =/
A good quote from Danse Macabre would have been at the end of the book where Anita says she is happy behind her black pointy wrought Iron fence. White was never her color anyway. This is a marvelous and creative piece! Well Done!
actually i thought the song suited it great definatly since in the later books it kinda mirrors anita's inner turmoil and 'within temptaion' is a great band, don't like well that's up to you... the song was 'it's the fear':)
