It's a good book. I read it. I got a copy for my sister, who just turned 25, because Hannah reminds me of her. But I wouldn't recommend the book for younger readers. Maybe not even high school. And it's not a very happy memoir. She's reviewing the book at a point in the memoir (of dormitory life at a high school boarding school) before Hannah's life begins to really spiral out of control with drug abuse and bulimia.
