283 with a 327 crabk makes a hell of a high winder...but 283 and 327s were tough as hell and you can run the piss out ofem i had one in a chevy gasser straight axle and a muncie...327 turnin 10 grand aint bad lol

I think he was having problems on the launch. It normally has the wheels in the air on the launch and bouncing back up in 2nd gear. I've seen that wagon in the 10.40-10.50 range.
