  • Little Richard is fuckin crazy

  • little Richard makes no sense.

  • I love lil Richards Music... but in this video he really appears to be a very annoying character

  • Thank you, so so much.... Chuck You Rock Man 4 ever, lol

  • Thats saying alot coming from Jerry Lee Lewis, even his own momma. LOL!!! Sadly he who has the power gets to write history.

  • the real king of rock n roll is chuck berry. sure. elvis is the king of gospel. i love elvis.

  • Little Richard could read a telephone book and still crack me up. Wooh!

  • i love that like he plays at 7:14 then he does his robot style seductive move. there is only 3 important rock n roll geeter players chuck, jimi, , and eddie v, halen

  • ...who never had another hit after 63...a mere 5 or 7 successful years in the business is all a lot of them had...one of the qualifications for rock and roll hall of fame should be minimum 4 albums and/or 20 years of active touring (playing 12 or more concerts in a single year). Eliminate a lot of these fly by night musicians, chuck would still make it but just barely, he only had 7 studio albums of original material and after 82 only played small clubs (not considered concert)

  • @GreenLightMe It's quite obvious you have no idea what your talking about GreenLiteme. There are plenty of the old timers that still have loads of money, a career and play to very large audiences.

The business minded people are the ones that kept their entertainment wealth, stayed in the public eye and built multi-business empires. I agree 100% many of them did squander their wealth however the Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry are still and have been loaded for their entire careers.

  • @ImCockToasten Greenlightme, further, those guys kept right on playing into their seventies because the enjoyed what they were doing AND were making money. Why can't someone retire at 40 if they have the means to, wouldn't you?

Many of the old timers managed to lose their money by being swindled by the record companies, promotors and agents. The Beatles and Rolling Stones took Chuck Berry's lead and formed their own publishing companies and record labels. They also bought back their recordings.

  • @ImCockToasten More for ya Greenlightme... Both the Beatles and Stones LOST the rights to a load of their early work. The Rolling Stones STILL do not have the rights to any of their recordings prior to 1967.

We don't you petition the Rock N Roll Hall of fame and have them change their criteria for induction? I have my doubts they will bother to listen but there's always that chance.

Blurting out absurdities on a place like this will eventually be seen by people like me and get challenged.

  • @GreenLightMe GreenLightMe....you just SOOO don't get it! Chuck wrote 25 or 30 killer songs in those 5 years. While your " heroes" only wrote one or two decent songs in their whole "careers". There's a WHOLE lot more to the "Music Biz" than just selling your soul to score a "hit" or two! You think it's a monetary "contest". You're wrong! It ain't about how much money you make; it's about what you CREATE! Wake up! DOPE_HEAD!

  • started getting paid to do gigs again and started eating off thier history, thats why I still give respect to Paul McCartney and about a dozen others who STILL make albums and MADE albums (hit albums mind you) in their 40s 50s and some even 60s...and continue to tour...People say oh they should be retired but they CAN'T music is their job, they don't deserve to RETIRE at 40 when we have to work till 72...So HAIL HAIL the McCartneys and SPRINGSTEENS still doing it, FUCK the old timers...

  • @GreenLightMe GreenLightMe.....you're a goddammed FOOL!

  • When the money got bigge says Chuck berry , thank goodness for greedy Crickets that we have Rock n Roll, obviously as we see in most rock and roll artist who did considerably well, not picking on blacks, the Jerry lee lewis, Haley and the likes started to come into money, but it became their only motivation thus why 80% of your rock and rollers from the 50s and 60s became BROKE motherfuckers in the 70s and 80...greedy sons a bitches, wasn't till 90s and the advent of welfare did they return...

  • procitas knjigu keitha richardsa ZIVOT,shvatis koliki je uticaj koji se prenosi sa dekade na dekadu.its only rnr but i like it!

bravo hikonline za ovaj post.uzivao sam.

  • i love how insane little richard is

  • @elshafto111 Are you blonde? :P

  • ''if you tried to give rock n roll another name, you might call it chuck berry.in the 1950s a whole generation worshiped his music.and wheen you see him perform today, past and present all come together, and the message is hail hail rock n roll

    -john lennon

  • @elshafto111 - not black just very tan

  • @elshafto111 noooooo..? :D

  • @tomthefunky (cont'd) It really pisses me off, because NO OTHER ethnicity would allow another group to cop their style and lie about it. For some reason (since ancient Egypt), people think they can walk all over the accomplishments of Africans, because---subconsciously, they believe----"there's NO WAY this group could've created___ "(fill in the blank). I can't wear Chinese characters/calligraphy and say "I made this". I couldn't get away with that lie. So it's NOT ok to do that to others.

  • @tomthefunky (cont'd) Even John Lennon knows that, and constantly paid homage. That's like someone 40 years later saying Eminem created rap. Ridiculous. This society pushes white as the greater talent, when subconsciously they think their style is better simply BECAUSE they're Caucasian. John Lennon said he and his bandmates appeared special because they were white boys playing black music. They evolved into their own style, but people always exploit Af. American styles and then DENY it.

  • @2conscious You began by writing "must we go there?". Then you wrote post after post, word after word, point after point, actually going there. Clearly you do want to "go there', or else you wouldn't have spent so much time and effort responding to me, no?

  • is litttle richard....gay??

  • @kaiser4132 nooooooo... :D

  • @kaiser4132 dah

  • @kaiser4132 gay not homosexual ejeje

  • People talk about Prince's genius.....but, did you guys SEE Chuck?? He played piano, sax AND guitar AND he sings AND dances....um....and Elvis does....?

  • @2conscious: "And Elvis does?" Well, for starters. He has the most number 1 hits for a single artist in history. He was the highest paid actor in Hollywood throughout the sixties. And he made possibly the biggest comeback in showbusiness history in the late sixties. Finally, Elvis had number one hits in four different decades. Was Prince and Chuck Berry able to do that?

  • @tomthefunky i love Elvis' music but money and popularity means nothing. Did you know that Rihanna and Lady Gaga are now more popular than elvis ever was, and still they both suck ass and they suck ass very deeply... :D

  • Comment removed

  • @tomthefunky yeah ty, lol :D but i dont think that Elvis and Chuck can be compared becouse even tough both are called rock and roll singers they're style was very different and actually their genres were two very different ones.. only thing they have in common is that Elvis loved Chuck Berry's music and made some covers of Chuck's songs becouse of that :)

  • @sambobla: I agree with you but I don't agree those two girls "are more popular than Elvis ever was". You can only determine that if they are still big fifty years from now. I'm convinced they won't even be footnotes. I recall an interview with Lisa-Marie Presley and she said Elvis still sells millions of albums. That's friggin' remarkable when you think about it. And only the White House is visited by more people every year than Graceland.

  • @tomthefunky i may have written it in a wrong way, i dont think they are more popular than elvis ever was but that's what critics and many magazines tell, so actually they must be just lying. :)

  • @tomthefunky Oh, lord----must we go there? First of all, if you don't know all the genres

created and popularized by African-Americans---COPIED by white artists---you should not be on here. Most of Elvis' songs were written by a black male AND Elvis payed homage to Fats Domino and other black musicians as the REAL R&Roll Kings. Due to media and discrimination, our style and music was copied and the white artists were heavily promoted. Geez, you learn this sh*t in music 101.

  • @2conscious Rock & Roll is a mixture of country (white) and rythem and blues (black). the instruments that are used (guitar, drums, piano etc;) were invented by either european or american whites. the beat the soulful feeling of the music is southern black. so it's kinda silly to really give more credit to either one. and that's what makes it so american. heck you could really give most credit for the invention of rock to Les Paul. but I don't think he'd wanna take credit.

  • @spactick all the best rock and roll bands were english. the americans invented it and then the brits said watch this fucker and we took over :)

  • @joefrench555 The problem is your wrong. The" Brit Groups" stold their whole acts from us Americans dude. The only guy that some relatively modest ideas was George Martin. You may (or not) have heard of him or his orchestra, more popularly known as the beatles. And even he stold his act from Brian Wilson of THE BEACH BOYS. But Brian Wilson stold his act from Les Paul. Give a listen to Les Paul and Mary Fords version of "High High The Moon". It's decades ahead of you little Brits.

  • @spactick what are you talking about George Martin stole his act off of Brian Wilson? Brian Wilson was influenced by Revolver, yes Pet Sounds influenced Sgt Peppers, but that was it, I mean c'mon we have GOOGLE now you can look up the history Before you post, if you don't have Prior knowledge.

  • @spactick The origins of the guitar can be traced to the middle east. Ziryab is recognized as the person who modified the lute by adding a fifth string, thus creating what developed into the Spanish guitar. Through his music he became an Arab superstar in Cordoba and created a music school that continued 500 years after his death. Also drums was not "invented by either european or american whites." but this is not a history lesson so I'll get back to Chuck Berry and the great music he made.

  • if you feel down, listen to little richard's laugh and everything's gonna be alright :D

  • @papstbenni well said :)

  • oh i've been waiting for this thank u

  • One of the best rock movies :) Hail! Hail!

  • Little Richard is so funny! and he looks so young too.

  • @michelle88960 i dont have anything aggainst gay people and i hope this dont make anyone angry but "Little Richard style gays" always make us smile, dont cha think? he is great artist, and also a "diva" :D

  • @sambobla

Oh i thought he looked a bit on the 'Gay' side, lol. i think he must have had a bit of botox too. and yes i agree with you about gays having a great sense of humour. in the UK our best comedians are gay, Paul O Grady, Graham Norton, Alan Carr and Julian Clary, to name a few. they do have a brilliant sense of humour. i don't want to upset any of the gay people as what i'm saying is a compliment. but i will probably be criticised!

  • @michelle88960 remember this movie was fimed more than 20 years ago

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Awesome!
