This concert was a the Capital Center in Largo Maryland. The Capital Center is no longer there...its now a shopping center...However I was 13 years old and was at this concert...It was the first time I ever saw KISS live and turned me into a KISS Army fan for life!!! I will never forget it a truly unforgetable concert then and to this day!!

And I think these shows are the best, specially the 1977 show, that night Peter Criss ruled!
@Mssmaimone My guess the location of 'Largo, MD' is a misnomer because they are probably referring to a large indoors sports venue previously known as US Air Arena-google it- which is/was used for music shows-including KISS but it's actually located in Landover,MD,which is a few miles north of Largo, MD. It's got similar build/capacity to Madison Square Garden,NYC. Also, it's just outside the Capitol Beltway,bordering the District,so it caters to the whole Washington D.C. area.

I saw them as a kid in 1977 and it was the absolute most insane concert I have ever been to. The crowd reaction was indescribable. Their stage set and effects on this tour was bigger than an amusement park.
There is no greater present day nostalgic feeling in music, than when I come across an old KISS LP from this time period.

The next also wrong Paul chord, a low D# power-chord, when blended with Ace's correct higher C# power-chord, makes everything seem like a clumsy, loud D#11. Is it ... KISS-JAZZ?

remember gene is college educated, a teacher with a bachelor degree, who taught music. Perhapse his base playing skill goes far beyond what you hear him playing, but he realizes the importance of playing what the song needs aposed to showing off to prove he's great

I agree to a certain extent. However, KISS is no worse than Creed or any of today's hottest bands. Creed charged 85 bucks for tix, bottom level. I payed 45 to see KISS. Kiss is an influential band no doubt bu not because of their music...their image and the way they sold th label of kiss Is influential. If u want a band that is influential because of music check led Zeppelin, rolling stones, the beetles, cream, and black sabbath. Those r bands that can play.

Love this concert footage! This tour and Love Gun are my abosolute favorites to watch! Dynasty costume is though for some reason my favorite...I think it's because how hot Paul looks in his lmao they need to put this onto the next KISSology dvd if they make another that is and hopefully they do lol

I'm 16 and think that KISS is better then any other band out there, oh i'm a girl to so to see that because of my age and since mostly KISS appeals to males because of there music. @biomansoil I've listened to Breaking Benjamin and there...ok, when it comes to now in day artist i'm more for like All-American Rejects, Marilyn Manson, Boys Like Girls and I use to like The Jonas Brothers but, i'm WAY over them. I listen to all kinds of music 'cept for rap. But, I rarely listen to now in day artist, i'm more for music from the mid 50s till early 90s

Though I like Tommy and Eric but, it's just not the same without Ace or Peter :(

To all of those that say KISS sucks because they're not technically the best, I say... I agree to a certain extent. However, KISS is no worse than Creed or any of today's hottest bands. Creed charged 85 bucks for tix, bottom level. I payed 45 to see KISS. Not to mention they're true to there word. Every single dime I payed, I got back fully. KISS is like a musical circus. But contrary to the beliefs of certain IDIOTS, they are musicians. Go listen to Gene's bass runs and see if you can play em CVH.
