My menu dial on my DSC w330 is evidently stripped out because it rotates out of place and then is very difficult to rotate back into position. Any idea on how to fix or if fixing myself would even be recommended or cost effective? Where to even get the part? Thanks for your help!

@millerakrause I just bought the NIKON S4000. Returnung it tomorrow. Pics are terrible, blurry and much noise (all kinds of colours to represent just a flat coloured surface for example). Quality is not in the mega-pixels, but in the whole camera, including data processing. And the S4000 sucks at it! Though there are a lot of 'reviews' (or more like advertisements) that claim the opposite.

And now I'm wondering whether the same is going on with the DSC-W330. Some say its rubbish, others love it.

Don't be dissing this camera. This camera is amazing, and my friend uses it for her photography.

You can easily make mind blowing pictures, you just have to have some creativity and actually know how to take a picture. A 5000$ camera and this camera were both used to take the same picture. Who had the better picture? The Sony Dsc-W330..So get your facts right.
