I hated Souther's new voice but it's growing on me. It'll never come close to the original manliness, though.

I think it's fine personally. When I read the manga, I always thought that Souther was more prouder than Raoh in a more arrogant and immature sense and I feel that Canna's voice brought these aspects of Souther to life in this game. It also made the distinction between Raoh and Souther more distinct, rather than make Souther sound like another beefcake like Raoh in the anime.

For anyone interested, the blond guy is Souther, the strongest of all six master of south star fighting styles (his is the Phoenix Style, wich has no defense, only attack). As seen in the anime, he is initially imune to Kenshiro's techniques, due to a reason.

Anyway, is he playable in this game? 'cause that would be awesome.

I know about Souther's 'secret' and what it does, and Raoh hesitates to fight him because of it. But have you guys seen what Raoh is capable of doing? Raoh can just beat Souther into a bloody pump, the good o' fashioned way. He doesn't even need to hit his pressure points

@DustyMilan He isn't your regular punk yes, virtually indestructible hardly, immune to physical attacks NO, he has a secret that allows him to be overconfident against holuto shinken fighter: his meridians and vital points are mirror reversed compared to normal beings, therefor ken's attack didn't work.

attacks do harm him: he gets cut by ken when he uses Shu's technique at the start of second fight.

Heh, Souther has dextrocardia, so all his pressure points are reversed. Ken has to mirror his hits in order for Hokuto Shin Ken to be effective.
