China and India are still developing nations and do not consume as much as the US. The US makes up 20-30% of Earth's total consumption annually, yet we are less than 5% of it's total population. We grossly over consume and it will come to bite us back.

I believe global warming to be an important environmental issue that is influenced by many aspects of our lives besides just CO2 emissions. To fix global warming we will have to make crucial decisions about how we lead our daily lives.

When I say 1% its of the earth, not land, but land doesn't matter, it's the atmosphere, and we inhabit less then 1% of the earth.

Polar bears were just moved onto the endangered species list, and there was a huge controversy over it. Why? Because it was the first time a species was placed on it because of GLOBAL WARMING. Well, I live in Canada and don't watch or get Fox news. As for the Polar Bears, what would Canada know, we are only home to the largest population of Polar Bears, and guess what? Canada has NOT placed them on the endangered species list. Only the U.S. has done that, no other country in the world has added them, and they did it because it's politically correct and they don't know what they are talking about.
