Ma Malakat aymanikum (lit. "whom your oaths posess" wrongly translated as right hand possession) is a phrase used for the poor humans whom an oath has been pledged to be taken care of. @dickknows Only the Quran was promised by God that He will look after it! The hadith CAN be corrupted by human whether deliberately or unintentionally. Just one mistake from the first source can affect many others after that. If the Hadith is in contradiction with the Quran, than the hadith will be considered corrupted. In fact, there are even many other Hadith which are in absolute contradiction with the hadith you were talking about!

He said, “You never spend anything but you will be rewarded for it, even the morsel of food that you lift to your wife’s mouth.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6352; Muslim, 1628.

And their right over you is that you should provide for them and clothe them on a reasonable basis.”muslim,1218

Ma Malakat aymanikum (lit. "whom your oaths posess" wrongly translated as right hand possession) is a phrase used for the poor humans whom an oath has been pledged to be taken care of. They are not necessarly prisoners of wars but can be. if one wishes to take under his special care (under oath) a war prisonner, ie raising his/her status. Islam makes it so that people, ESPECIALLY WOMEN are not exploited, because men in that time died in wars, and women are vulnerable to harsh society

@dickknows My friend, I am not denying the hadith. It was customary for marriage contracts to be signed at the time with younger girls. Evidence is clear that the prophet (pbuh) did not bring her into the home until she was much older. There were no relations between them until she was much older. Watch the video first, it clears up all of this. If the prophet pbuh was some sort of child molester look at his marriage to Khadija. She was 40 when he was 25. He was virgin and she widowed 2x

Just one mistake from the first source can affect many others after that. If the Hadith is in contradiction with the Quran, than the hadith will be considered corrupted. In fact, there are even many other Hadith which are in absolute contradiction with the hadith you were talking about!
