this song doesnt fit with other teams songs because other teams songs were written centuries ago. the eagles were founded in the late eighties, so it is fitting that their theme song be a modern song. and at least their song is an origional song. all of the victorian club songs are based on the melodies of old war songs which have absolutely nothing to do with australian culture.
