@silverbrute750 No. they are both parallel twins, but the phazer is an odd fire engine, simmilar firing pattern as most of their twin street bike engines, the Z1 and and the polaris fs series are even firing parallel twins.

The 4 stroke is desgined for a turbo. Of corse it would be dead if it didnt have one. Im sure arctic cat could designe a non turbo'd 4 stroke just like a yamaha. And a CFR 1000 would take the mach Z. I bet the 800 H0 Cat would take that mach Z as well.  Cats are dialed in when it comes to horsepower. Has been for 10+ years. Get over it.

these are 2 totally different sleds. you cannot compare 2 strokes to 4 strokes. if that ski doo was a 4 stroke non turbo how fast do you think it would go? now if a mach 1000 came up beside a f1000 and they were both stock and each rider weighed the same. and one lost, than you could say ski doo sucks or cat sucks.

Wrong. Check your facts bud. Cat makes two Z1 models, a "Z1" (123HP) and a "Z1 Turbo" (177HP). They call it that because it's got a real turbo charger and a big'ol inter-cooler that can be seen in the hood. Arctic Cat dot Com or google for more info...

The Cat was modified. the Doo Doo Z1000 will take a stock Z1 turbo up to 95 mph.

I think skidoo has pushed two-strokes as far as they can go and we should congratulate them for that. But modern four-strokes with the right mods are the way to go. Of coarse if we put a turbo on that mach the race would have a different winner.

Yea but the kitty is also a 4 stroke. The doo was a 2 stroke. 2 strokes flow twice as much air and are equivelant to a four stroke twice their cc. So basically the kitty minus the turbo wouldn't win but then the doo would be the cheater, haha. The kitty rips, end of story!
