this video really discourages me! i read and looked up so many videos and reviews and then this video comes along.... im still buying it though this is really slow in this video.... what exact cpu do u have??? u should overclock to 3ghz... if u r wanting to get this card then dont go on with this video because you will get much faster fps... u should be getting 25fps avgerage in veryhigh 1080p (1920x0180)
@neonzion7 THE CPU HE HAS IS BAD, SO THE CARD ISN'T AT IT'S FULL POTENTIAL! it's a shame that its been 8 months and i couldn't tell you this, sorry... hope you bought the HIS radeon 5770 anyways...
@DarkSoldier1998 I do know that. Upgrading my PC any further wasn't my top priority when I made this video. Either way - its a benchmark video to show what THIS computer's performance is. I understand the card can do better with a better CPU and I am buy a Core i5 quad core 2.8 GHz along with 8 GB of DDR3 1666 MHz ram and a new motherboard.
and this card the one im getting has got 850 core clock and 4800ghz memory clock how good can I run this only on 1400X900 havent got a good monitor... anywho..
is that a samsung p 2370 hd? if so we have the same monitor , and im buying a 5770 soon to :D. just wondering do you think a athlon X2 4400+ would bottleneck a 5770 much? (its OC'ed from 2.3 to 2.8ghz)
The monitor is a Samsung P2370HD. Its very nice. 23" and 1080p. Everyone keeps saying that my 2.1 GHz Athlon X2 is bottlenecking my Radeon 5770 so the answer is I don't know. If it does, it will still do better than mine. I just don't have a lot of money to spend at once and since I wanted to play Crysis, I decided to by the card first. In some time I will probably go buy an MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard, some DDR3 ram, and a Phenom II X4. And then some day another Radeon 5770.
The system log shows that the CPU isn't being fully loaded, so i don't know. I talked to crytek the other day and they said that it wouldn't make much more than a 1 - 2 fps difference for Crysis is written to offload EVERYTHING to the GPU. I was told that apart from loading having a Pentium 4 wouldn't lower it much either, not that I would do that. Anyway, all those 40 fps videos for the 5770 are at 1280x720 or at 1280x1024 and i am at a full 1080p(1920x1080).
Dude I got a q660 and a radeon 3850 4gb 800mhz mem and I get better benchmarks than you in dx10 64bitn just a thought I'm not too up on all this but get a new mobo and processor man its killing what could be quite a good card and when i say new processore go intel I use to be an amd fanboy but they lost the crown I bought this processor three years ago and I still know now I'm not gonna need to upgrade it for at least another year tell me when was the last time u had a processor last 4 years....
Uh, the one I have right now. I got it 3 years ago and its still going strong. I had this computer laying around by the way, I decided to get some gaming out of it. Don't exactly have the cash to go get a new mobo and processor at the moment.
your cpu is not good enough :P

oh that will work fine.

@chainkill2
1440 x 900 works great, you can barely tell the difference from 1080p if you use 4xAA.

I'm sure you're already aware of this, but your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU bad.
