@Nicesgirl1236 I live with the illness as well. It's been an unphill battle for the 29 years I've lived. It can be tolerated at times, but the struggle still remains until they find a cure. September is Sickle Cell Awarness Month and we should be taking this time to educate ourselves and test early to prevent this on going cycle. Sickle Cell is painfull, but ignorance is DEADLY. Together, we can do what it takes to Break the Sickle Cycle!

This girl is lyrically gifted and spittin the most prolific message. I venture to say that 99.9% of diseases and deficiencies can be avoided by just simply eatin right or at least tryin to. This honestly reminds me Nas' "Stay Chiseled" as far as the presentation of content.

you cant avoid all diseases by eating right. i have a medical disease and ive ate correctly my whole life. in all the right proportions. its this type of ignorance that makes people with medical problems feel that their problems are their fault when thats not at all the case.
