hi lisa. i want to buy the korres foundation but would you think it would come out bad if i used my fingers? or what affect would it have with a 188? and why did you not like the affect with the 190 brush?
@iAlanahBelle I use a very small amount and you really have to buff it in- it is difficult to work with sometimes- use a buffer brush. You can send me a PM for a request.
Hi Lisa, I need your advice!! I´d like to try the Korres wildrose foundation but I have to order it online so I can´t test it on my skin :( ´Which shade would you say it would work for an nc25?? Thanks so much and have a great day ;)
@Lisasz09 Really? I thought WRF2 because you said that even numbers are more yellowish or are they all??? Thanks so much for helping me out. Another one I´d like to try out is the ginger light foundation that you didn´t like so which shade would you recommend me to buy? Thanks thanks thanks!!!
@Pescaicho I think 2 is going to be to light and 4 will be to orange- 3 should be just right- it still has yellow undertones! :o) No korres have pink undertones! i did not like the Ginger one at all- no coverage! :o(
@Lisasz09, I wanted to ask if you recommend studio sculpt for dry / flaky skin? or the studio tech? or other MAC foundation. I have the studio fix fluid in NC30 but it's horrible, my skin looks much more flaky and dry than usual, even though I use primer, mousterizer etc. Also what color should I choose NC35 or NC37 for the studio sculpt? and what powder should I use to set it? I'm interested in MAC cosmetics because is the best high tech make up avaible where I live =(
@monicgma sculpt or tinted moisturizzer by MAC would be better. for powder I would suggest the MSF Natural- it is more natural and not as heavy/cakey! I hope this helps!
thanks so much is the nars sheer glow is it sheeer i want something thats matte i know the mufe is matte but other sugesstion cause i dolnt want to be too shining because of my oily combonation skin. anyways,thanks.. i want one where i can wear while we take photo that it wont make me look lighter because of the spf ya know lol thanks thanks thanks
@MISSLISA1015 sheer glow (even though the name isnt so) is a matte founadtion! It has great stayingpower and wont reflect white because it doesnt contain spf.
i know soooo late but im really interested on the mac studio sculpt foundation i am oily im a nc45 so im guessing that im b using either a nc 50 to nc55 huh?? LOL anyways.. i do have a primer i use the mufe mat primer will that work!??? so do you think it will work?? my bf b day is comin up so i want a foundation that will look good please get back to me thanks =]
@MISSLISA1015 yes that primer would work- be careful with teh SS foundation it broke me out after a week of using it- if you have dry- normal skin it is great but combo oily it might break you out! I think NARS Sheer Glow, Lancome fresh wear or Sheseido Sun protection liquid are better founadtions!
Does the Korres work with oily combination skin without a mattifying primer? I'm a lil bit wary about getting shiny throughout the day. Thanks. Love your videos. :)
I was wondering which shade i should choose for my skin.. I have the bare minerals medium beige foundation now and that maches my skin perfectly.. I think i am in the middle of pink and yellow undertone. Thank you for the review :)
@Lisasz09 Thank you for answering :) I live in Norway so it is not possible to get the colour mached here, but which one is the most yellow of wrc3 and wrc 2? :) And do you know if the colour is the same in the powders? Should i pick the same shade in the foundation and the powder and the concealer? Thank you for the help :)
@sh3834 the even numbers are supposed to be more yellow the odds are more red- I think they all run more yellow! I hope this helps! The colors are different in concealer and powder though!
i want to try the Korres Wild Rose foundation but I have skin that is usually acne prone and I'm nervous it will clog my pores. I've been taking retinAmicro for a month & things are getting better but I was excited to hear about a non-cakey foundation that had some glow (but not grease!)... i usually use powder foundation so i can have a lot of coverage...not a big fan of my skin these days.
p.s. can you clarify the brushes? do you mean the MAC 109 brush? i dont have any particular brushes....
@willingtootry the korres is very easy on the skin and is organic which helps too! yes the MAC 109 brush- you can use your clean fingers or any brush you have! :o)
I have really, really pale skin. I'm an NW15 and I'm currently using Studio Fix Fluid. I definitely need full coverage- my skin gets really red and it's also really dry. I was just wondering which one you'd recommend. I've heard that Studio Sculpt is pretty moisturizing and I'm kind of worried I won't be able to get a perfect match with the Korres..
Do mac let you take products back if you've opened them? I got my first ever mac product, studio sculpt foundation.. the girl colour matched me as a NC42 and it's far too dark just looks pure orange on my face!
hey lisa, i know you have plenty of foundations.. i was just wondering if it breaks you out using different ones? do you use different foundations everyday?
I have very dry pale pale skin and i was jw if you thought the Studio Sculpt would work for me. Estee Lauder Double wear is my HG but its wayyyy to dark for me in the fall/winter.
And is their any way to help add a little more moisture to the diorskin nude fdn? They make a shade light enough for me but its very drying like u said in ur review for it.
If EL double wear is your HG I would suggest NARS Sheer glow and it is made for dry skin and comes in light colors also. For the dior nude the problem is it is water based so if you try and mix a moisturizer with it (they tend to have oil in them) it will seperate and not work! :o(
I just bought the Korres wild rose foundation and its so weird that you are also wrf2, because im usually a nc30 and i am perfectly matched to the Korres Wrf2, And I find that Korres offers more golden undertoned colors.
Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for all of your reviews & videos. You are awesome! I am on a search for a good foundation for my skin & am hoping you might have some suggestions? I have very oily skin & have issues w/ large & clogged pores. I'm looking for something oil-free that is long lasting w/ medium to buildable coverage. I've tried Studio Fix Fluid & MUFE Mat Velvet & neither have given me desired results (both look good when applied, but don't last). Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
I would say to start with an oil control primer like Murad which will help any foundation stay longer and remain matte- I also really like teh Shisheido Sun protection liquid foudantion! Good Luck!
your skin looks good here!!! i think you look good a little paler.... i think your awesome by the way...love all you videos... thanks you for all your help and suggestions....by the way love the desk you got... where did you find it online or antique store?
oh my goshh. so sorry about posting so many things, lol.
but i just have so many questions, and youre perfect to answer them.
with the korres foundation: I am oily in my t-zone (combination/oily skin) would the korres foundation end up looking kind of cakey or unnatural if i dusted translucent powder over the top of it, and then put some fix+ on ? Pleaaase, and thank you (:
no worries I like wuestions! I think the korres is great for all skin types if you need help controling oil try the murad oil control mattifying cream! AMAZING! Enjoy!
I'm NW15, a little lighter actually. Do you think the lightest korres wild rose shade would match me? I don't have korres in my sephora for some reason. thanks!
hi again lisa:), you said that you were an nw 20, isn't that with a yellow base? I thought you would be an nc, and in the summer what color are you? and do you add ou chanel bronzer on top? thanks...
Hi Lisa, I'm wondering if you could give me some advice.
I have both the Wild Rose and the Vitamin and Ginger and I have them in the lightest shades they do (the ones ending in 1) but I find the undertone too peachy, I need a more yellow or olive base but I'm unsure on which shade to go for next.
In MAC a vary anything from a NC15 to a NC25 and unfurtunatly I have to urder online for the Korres so I'm unable to see it in person.
thanks so much! I was thinking about buying this but really wanted a clear answer about what kind of coverage it has. glad to hear it can be full coverage!
I'm thinking of getting the Korres Foundation, I have super oily skin & usually use SSF in NC15/NW15. Which shade of Korres would you recommend, I have to order online because I'm in the UK so I can't really get colour matched:(
I am looking at buying the Korres Wild Rose Foundation. I bought the Sephora 55 foundation brush (they didn't have 50 like you recommended). Does this foundation go on well with the foundation brush? How do you apply it? As well as with the MAC studio sculpt, do you think the 50 brush would work?
sorry that must have been a typo- it is a 55 brush! :o) I do use it on the korres and I like it a lot. I can not find any brush that works woth the Studio Sculpt- fingers are still best!
i have to try the korres foundation..must return the stila...hate returning..wasnt so happy....i can't use mac...breakouts ..yuck..i am asian ,tan have yellow tone ..the korres ok for me?? the people at sephora really are clueless and dont seem to know what they are doing...thats why i am always returning..yes i get samples but i never get enough for application...thanks
yay! I am so glad you are going to try the korres too! Yeah Stilla doesnt work for as I said in my other comment! Yuck! You will be fine w korres they have colors for a yellow undertone- it is the even #'s! :o) Enjoy!
thnks for ur recommendation of this but one prob. I'm indian so its hard for me to find a matching color in this which i didn't. I have a yellowish kinda skin tone. red undertone is to red and beige undertone is too chalky and washed out for me. looks like i have a mask on. SO i realize yellowish is best cuz my neck and chest is very yellowish. Is there any other recommendations u have for me for my irritated redish, lots of acne and extremely oily skin?? skin is also sensitive too. pls help :/
Well, I caved & bought the Wild Rose fdn today - you enabler! I also got 2 of the Korres blushes - love all the products. Thanks for your review on the fdn - I wld never hve lked at Korres before. Will be posting my review too in due course!
haha! I hope you love it! I didnt forget about your email! We have a meeting coming up in VA in MAy and everyone is emailing me about it so I have been slammed! I sweat I will get back to you tomorrow! I cant wait to see your review! :o)
I use the Mac prep and prime spf 50 primer (I have a review on this) and I use the MAC MSF Natural to set it (I have a review on this also!) I hope this helps you! :o)
i believed its pronunced korr-es. just thought you liked to know. not trying to be rude. I like the watermelon tinted moisturizer and the wild rose concealer from them. great review!
hi I don't know which foundation to try and i have really dry sensitive skin. Do you have a suggestion on which one would be better for my skin? thanks :)
The MAC has shea butter in it which is great for dry skin as long as you dont have any sensitivity to that! I personally really like the Korres and if you are worried about the scent in the wild rose irriatating your skin you shoudl try their founadtion which is ginger and vitamins- great for dry skin! :o)
Based on your review I bought the Wild Rose foundation and I'm so glad I did. What a wonderful product. Thank you so much for your great videos, love them all.
I have applied it with my fingers and that seems to be my fav way to apply it! i dont have the foundation with me for the ingredients- I think you can find them online though! Thanks for watching!
you have great ideas and videos i just want to ask you plz if you can make a video makeup for oily skin.korres has also a tined cream with watermelon sunscreen 30 and it has meup covarege oil free very nice for oily skin i wear it in summer time :) thnx for your answer:)
Thanks so much! There isnt really special makeup that I would suggest for oily skin- I would just say to make sure you are using a really good primer without silicone like MAC Prep and prime spf 50 or benefit bad gal! I hope this helps you!
Korres are from Greece iam form greece :) the have a lot of history here and they can only be found in drustores here korres also have some medical staff like cough syrups all from natural ingrediants
Hello from Germany!! I really love to watch your reviews, your explain everything so well!! Big compliment!! I love Korres face and hair products, unfortunately you can't buy the foundation in Germany... xxx
Hi, how you tried the ginger and vitamin foundation from Korres? if so, how does it compare to the wildrose? I have the ginger and vitamin foundation and I like how natural it look, is it the same with the wildrose one?
I have not I am considering buying it though! From what I have researched the ginger one has less coverage than the wild rose! :o) I hope this helps you! I will do a review if I buy it!
Oh no...I just bought it and I have really oily skin. :( I was just thinking it might be breaking me out but I wasn't sure. Would the Korres be a better choice? Or should I stay away from both?
actually, the msf is the first foundation of any kind that i purchased.
I thought since your msf is medium in natural, I figured that your coloring would be similiar to mine.
I was asking about your colouring because i wanted to try the korres liquid foundation and i figured perhaps i could use your shade as a guide. Maybe that was a silly thing to do?
I have no idea what color i am in mac, since i don't use their liquid foundation.
Korres is a very blendable color base, so you could try that but if you are able to get to a store to check the testers i would always do that! Good Luck and enjoy! :o)
I gots a question. I use msf natural in medium and i saw your review on that. I wonder if the korres colour you have would work on me? I'm a bit yellow/pink (eurasian).
Thanks for your reviews on these. I bought Studio Sculpt and returned it-I found it to be too thick for my taste. I went to Sephora and asked for a sample of the Korres Wild Rose W2 and used it today-I really like it! Plus I got a compliment too, so I'm going to buy it now! Thanks!!!
thanks lisa i the brushes I have them all. I purchased bobbi brown eye corrector in light bisque sending it back for bisque. I have the eye concealer the duo with the powder from bobbi brown but have sand and dont like it. What color do you use or like?
I am NW20-NW25 and with tanner I am NW30 and I can use the WRF3 with tanner and without i am WRF2- I think the WRF2 might be to light for you! I hope this helps! :o)
Hey Lisa! hope your are doing great! I was wondering if you have ever tried Dior's Nude foundation and mineral powder... I use MAC's MSF but I find it does not last throu the day and was wondering if I should try Dior's since I dont have great skin and want to find one that makes my skin look healthy... Could you do a review or talk about your opinion on this... thanks!
I was debating between the wrf2 and 3. There was a sample I just bought just a few mins ago on ebay. Actually the only one available were the 3's, lol. I have about your coloring but with a yellowish undertone. Oi, I hope the 3 matches. Nothing worse then being excited about a product getting it and not having it match, lol. When I want something I want it now, so if I have to sell it and find the other shade? ugh lol. Thanks as always. Was the WRF 3 to mismatched for you?
Hey Lisa. I'm new to MAC, but I would really like to try a liquid foundation (maybe Studio Sculpt?). Today I got the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation NW30. Should I get the Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW30 too? I tried asking for help at the MAC counter, but they were extremely busy. Any tips on how to choose a good liquid foundation? Or should I just stick with the powder for now? I'm a first grade teacher and I'm not sure if using more foundation would be a bit too much for work.
The foundations run different in each line- I would say to get matched on each different one that you are considering- I have everything from NW15-NW30. The studio Sculpt is a great foundation and i dont really need powder over it! If the powder foundation works for you then possibly the Mineralized Skin Finish Natural- That is my favorite and is light on your skin! Enjoy and let me knwo what you end up getting! :o)
See? I'm confused again. I said the NW20 looks good when blended (blah blah) but I don't have that shade. I'm using NC20 and think I should get the NW20. Goodness gracious. The last girl I saw didn't even try any on me. She said the NW20 would make me look pink and then she made a face. ??? But I'm thinking it should kind of match my skin. A little, at lease, right? Okay, I have to go back. Right?
Got the NW20 today. MUCH BETTER. Very helpful girl said I could wear NW25 too, but since I don't tan, I"ll stick with the 20. She knew right away I had the wrong color. (Sigh of relief.) So happy now!
Hi again. I'm so confused! I'm on my 2nd tube of SS and think I still have the wrong color. Wondered if I could have your 2 cents? I'm fair/med w/pink undertones and have tried the NC15 (too light) and now I'm using NC20 but think it's too yellow. I'm wondering if I should have NW20?? This will be my 4th trip, and hopefully my last (for this item). The NW20 looks fine when it's all blended but when I first put it on, it's crazy yellow. ??? Sorry to bug. Thanks.
goodness girl! If the NC is to yellow than you probably need an NW- I used to always wear NC then one time someone matched me to NW and it was love! Amazing! I hope you get the right one soon! :o)
Thanks for the review! Very informative. I have not managed to get the wild rose foundation yet but I love my ginger & vitamins foundation together with the multivitamin compact powder for oily skin. It is velvety and doesn't make me look cakey
I have heard great things about the ginger one, but it is a lighter coverage and i like a fuller coverage! :o) I might have to give teh powder a try also! Love the korres line! :o)
I like full coverage too when it comes to foundations but I use the ginger one when it is cold outside (since it is hydrating as well) or when my skin doesn't have a lot of blemishes. I highly recommend the Korres to anyone who wants the best out of their skincare and make up products!
Wow, Lisa, I've already commented on this vid, but I've just seen that you did this on my request!:))) Thanks soo much!:) I've just understood that Korres is a Greek brand and since my country is next to Greece I'm seriously thinking of ordering it!:)))
So far I really like the Ginger Vitamin... it's everything I'd want in a foundation (I usually hate foundations). It's a light/med coverage and gives such a dewy smooth look to the skin. I'm really impressed. My husband came home and said right away "what do you have on your face.. it looks great". If the hubby and Mother in-law liked it so far and noticed right away there was something different than that's good in my book! I hope you try it.
does the Studio Sculpt foundation give a white cast when taking photos?
PinkBlushing 1 month ago
@PinkBlushing I did not have any issues with a cast= the SPF is usually what causes a cast- so be sure your powder to set doesn't have spf ether

hi lisa. i want to buy the korres foundation but would you think it would come out bad if i used my fingers? or what affect would it have with a 188? and why did you not like the affect with the 190 brush?
please answer thank you so much!

@giraffexoxo no it would work ok with fingers. I don't personally like 188 or 187 for foundation. the 190 seemed streaky

How can I make it sink in better.
Also where do I send u a video request?

but i just have so many questions, and youre perfect to answer them.
with the korres foundation: I am oily in my t-zone (combination/oily skin) would the korres foundation end up looking kind of cakey or unnatural if i dusted translucent powder over the top of it, and then put some fix+ on ? Pleaaase, and thank you (:
emilydarlingxx 2 years ago
no worries I like wuestions! I think the korres is great for all skin types if you need help controling oil try the murad oil control mattifying cream! AMAZING! Enjoy!

haha, never mind. I found itttt (:
emilydarlingxx 2 years ago
I absolutely LOVE your reviews (:
where can i purchase korres products ?
emilydarlingxx 2 years ago
I buy them at sephora or ebay! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I'm NW15, a little lighter actually. Do you think the lightest korres wild rose shade would match me? I don't have korres in my sephora for some reason. thanks!
magicsinmakeup 2 years ago
when i am 20-30 the wrf3 works for me- so I would guess the wrf1 would work for a 10-15 skin color! Enjoy!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I've read that the lightest shade suites more yellow undertone skin.
Did you try the foundation? I'm nw 15 too.. :-(
abciao 2 years ago
hi again lisa:), you said that you were an nw 20, isn't that with a yellow base? I thought you would be an nc, and in the summer what color are you? and do you add ou chanel bronzer on top? thanks...
ljchmom 2 years ago
I am NW30 in the summer and i do use the Chanel over it! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Does the Korres foundation have a color for my nc45 skin? I loooove the Korres primer because its great for my acne prone skin? What you suggest?
ricquettaf 2 years ago
I do not think they have a color taht will match NC45 :o(
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Hi Lisa, I'm wondering if you could give me some advice.
I have both the Wild Rose and the Vitamin and Ginger and I have them in the lightest shades they do (the ones ending in 1) but I find the undertone too peachy, I need a more yellow or olive base but I'm unsure on which shade to go for next.
In MAC a vary anything from a NC15 to a NC25 and unfurtunatly I have to urder online for the Korres so I'm unable to see it in person.
Which shade would you reccomend?
Sara140384 2 years ago
The Korres run odd numbers (1,3,7) are like teh NW's in MAC and the even (2, 4, 6) are like teh NC Colors by mac- I hope that helps you!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thank you :)
Sara140384 2 years ago
thanks so much! I was thinking about buying this but really wanted a clear answer about what kind of coverage it has. glad to hear it can be full coverage!

I am glad yu found this helpful! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I'm thinking of getting the Korres Foundation, I have super oily skin & usually use SSF in NC15/NW15. Which shade of Korres would you recommend, I have to order online because I'm in the UK so I can't really get colour matched:(
Thanks :)
babiikate93 2 years ago
I would say that WRF1 or 3 would work for you! I use 1 in winter when I am a 15 and 3 when i am 20-30! :o) I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Lisa,
I am looking at buying the Korres Wild Rose Foundation. I bought the Sephora 55 foundation brush (they didn't have 50 like you recommended). Does this foundation go on well with the foundation brush? How do you apply it? As well as with the MAC studio sculpt, do you think the 50 brush would work?
Thanks!
mplsweetheart 2 years ago
sorry that must have been a typo- it is a 55 brush! :o) I do use it on the korres and I like it a lot. I can not find any brush that works woth the Studio Sculpt- fingers are still best!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
hey Lisa
do you have a recommendations for a water resistant foundation?
Anniezhao101 2 years ago
Dior forever and Estee Lauder max coverage are both good but drying to the skin! :o(
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Is this Korres still your favorite foundation to date?

DYLAN3264 2 years ago
yay! I am so glad you are going to try the korres too! Yeah Stilla doesnt work for as I said in my other comment! Yuck! You will be fine w korres they have colors for a yellow undertone- it is the even #'s! :o) Enjoy!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
thnks for ur recommendation of this but one prob. Is there any other recommendations u have for me for my irritated redish, lots of acne and extremely oily skin?? skin is also sensitive too. pls help :/
rajkumarijaan2 2 years ago
you should try teh korres wild rose foundation- most of them have a yellow/peach undertone in them- hopefully that will work for you! Enjoy! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago

Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thank you! also what primer and powder do you use with it?
liveoutloud78 2 years ago
I use the Mac prep and prime spf 50 primer (I have a review on this) and I use the MAC MSF Natural to set it (I have a review on this also!) I hope this helps you! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago

Lisasz09 2 years ago
hi I don't know which foundation to try and i have really dry sensitive skin. Do you have a suggestion on which one would be better for my skin? thanks :)
designerdancer94 2 years ago
The MAC has shea butter in it which is great for dry skin as long as you dont have any sensitivity to that! I personally really like the Korres and if you are worried about the scent in the wild rose irriatating your skin you shoudl try their founadtion which is ginger and vitamins- great for dry skin! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
thanks :) that helps alot !
designerdancer94 2 years ago
Based on your review I bought the Wild Rose foundation and I'm so glad I did. What a wonderful product. Thank you so much for your great videos, love them all.

I have applied it with my fingers and that seems to be my fav way to apply it! i dont have the foundation with me for the ingredients- I think you can find them online though! Thanks for watching!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
you have great ideas and videos i just want to ask you plz if you can make a video makeup for oily skin.korres has also a tined cream with watermelon sunscreen 30 and it has meup covarege oil free very nice for oily skin i wear it in summer time :) thnx for your answer:)
sia290787 2 years ago
Thanks so much! There isnt really special makeup that I would suggest for oily skin- I would just say to make sure you are using a really good primer without silicone like MAC Prep and prime spf 50 or benefit bad gal! I hope this helps you!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Korres are from Greece iam form greece :) the have a lot of history here and they can only be found in drustores here korres also have some medical staff like cough syrups all from natural ingrediants
sia290787 2 years ago

Hi Lisa!
Hello from Germany!! I really love to watch your reviews, your explain everything so well!! Big compliment!! I love Korres face and hair products, unfortunately you can't buy the foundation in Germany... xxx
Xandimaus89 2 years ago
I thought Korres was from germany- maybe i was told wrong! :o( I am glad you can atleast buy the face and hair products!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Hi, how you tried the ginger and vitamin foundation from Korres? if so, how does it compare to the wildrose? I have the ginger and vitamin foundation and I like how natural it look, is it the same with the wildrose one?
cootsvea 2 years ago
I have not I am considering buying it though! From what I have researched the ginger one has less coverage than the wild rose! :o) I hope this helps you! I will do a review if I buy it!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Ok! thank you!
Puppysofia 2 years ago
Sure! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Would you recommend the MAC Sculpt foundation for oily skin? mine is oily.
Puppysofia 2 years ago
probably not because most people with oily skin broke out from this. It contains shea butter! :O( Sorry!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Oh no...I just bought it and I have really oily skin. :( I was just thinking it might be breaking me out but I wasn't sure. Would the Korres be a better choice? Or should I stay away from both?
LindseyJette 2 years ago
MAC will allow you to return it if you need to! Try it out though! :o) I think the korres is a better choice for oily skin! :o) Good luck!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
It's so difficult trying to find a good foundation!

so please write back (:
thanks alot
sarahxoxo99809 2 years ago
I am not sure since I use different ones all the time and I dont just stay with one bottle of a product! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
actually, the msf is the first foundation of any kind that i purchased.
I thought since your msf is medium in natural, I figured that your coloring would be similiar to mine.
I was asking about your colouring because i wanted to try the korres liquid foundation and i figured perhaps i could use your shade as a guide. Maybe that was a silly thing to do?
I have no idea what color i am in mac, since i don't use their liquid foundation.
i will walk into sephora and try the testers.
misslummy 2 years ago
Korres is a very blendable color base, so you could try that but if you are able to get to a store to check the testers i would always do that! Good Luck and enjoy! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I gots a question. I use msf natural in medium and i saw your review on that. I wonder if the korres colour you have would work on me? I'm a bit yellow/pink (eurasian).
misslummy 2 years ago
Do you know what colro you are in MAC? i am a NW20 and the WRF3 works best for me! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thanks for your reviews on these. I bought Studio Sculpt and returned it-I found it to be too thick for my taste. I went to Sephora and asked for a sample of the Korres Wild Rose W2 and used it today-I really like it! Plus I got a compliment too, so I'm going to buy it now! Thanks!!!
ualemp902 2 years ago
I am so glad you found something you like- Korres is such a greta line too! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
thanks lisa i the brushes I have them all. I purchased bobbi brown eye corrector in light bisque sending it back for bisque. I have the eye concealer the duo with the powder from bobbi brown but have sand and dont like it. What color do you use or like?
guccigal73 2 years ago
i have bisque and beige!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I have the same foundation and love it wrf3 koores which brush do you use to put it on
guccigal73 2 years ago
I use the 190 sometimes or the 109 or 187 if I want a fuller coeverage! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
i had a question on the color to choose. i am a NC25 with Mac. Should I go with the WRF2?
macfan1966 2 years ago
I am NW20-NW25 and with tanner I am NW30 and I can use the WRF3 with tanner and without i am WRF2- I think the WRF2 might be to light for you! I hope this helps! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Hey Lisa. Ever since you've been using the Korres foundation, your skin is absolutely gorgeous. You just inspired me to purchase it.
macfan1966 2 years ago
yeah thanks so much! I hope you enjoy it! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Hey Lisa! hope your are doing great!

Was the WRF 3 to mismatched for you?
darcimarie 2 years ago
I can use itther so you should be fine! Good luck and let me knwo what you think of it! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
i really like korres because it's more natural without parabens or syntentic dyes. but it's expensive for a teen like me.

You say you use the Studio Sculpt at night. Would you say it is photo-friendly?

Lisasz09 2 years ago
I'm a first grade teacher and I'm not sure if using more foundation would be a bit too much for work.
iridessa808 2 years ago
The foundations run different in each line- I would say to get matched on each different one that you are considering- I have everything from NW15-NW30. The studio Sculpt is a great foundation and i dont really need powder over it! If the powder foundation works for you then possibly the Mineralized Skin Finish Natural- That is my favorite and is light on your skin! Enjoy and let me knwo what you end up getting! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thanks for your recommendations. You and I have such similar coloring that I'll have to follow up on your suggestions. Thanks!
violettesmile 2 years ago
I aam glad you enjoyed the video! :o0 Good luck with your foundation choice!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Right?
jalapena2007 2 years ago
I think you should get the NW since the NC is yellow on you! NW has a pink undertone and NC has a yellow undertone!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Got the NW20 today. MUCH BETTER. Very helpful girl said I could wear NW25 too, but since I don't tan, I"ll stick with the 20. She knew right away I had the wrong color. (Sigh of relief.) So happy now!
jalapena2007 2 years ago
I am so glad you finally got the right one! yeah! Enjoy! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thanks.
jalapena2007 2 years ago
goodness girl! If the NC is to yellow than you probably need an NW- I used to always wear NC then one time someone matched me to NW and it was love! Amazing! I hope you get the right one soon! :o)

I know the studio sculpt just came out in a new collection, but does anybody know if it's limited edition or permanent?
roxygirl1420022000 2 years ago
it is permanent! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Thanks for the review! Very informative. I have not managed to get the wild rose foundation yet but I love my ginger & vitamins foundation together with the multivitamin compact powder for oily skin. It is velvety and doesn't make me look cakey
pasiphae05 2 years ago
I have heard great things about the ginger one, but it is a lighter coverage and i like a fuller coverage! :o) I might have to give teh powder a try also! Love the korres line! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
I like full coverage too when it comes to foundations but I use the ginger one when it is cold outside (since it is hydrating as well) or when my skin doesn't have a lot of blemishes. I highly recommend the Korres to anyone who wants the best out of their skincare and make up products!
pasiphae05 2 years ago
that is great! i am amazed at their products they are all great! :o)

I dont think it does- sephora has them listed online though I would say check and make sure! :o) Good luck!
Lisasz09 2 years ago

Wow, Lisa, I've already commented on this vid, but I've just seen that you did this on my request!:))) Thanks soo much!:) I've just understood that Korres is a Greek brand and since my country is next to Greece I'm seriously thinking of ordering it!:)))

how did you get your korres sample?

it was a beauty insider sample at sephora, but you can ask for a sample there as well! :o)
Lisasz09 2 years ago
So far I really like the Ginger Vitamin... it's everything I'd want in a foundation (I usually hate foundations). It's a light/med coverage and gives such a dewy smooth look to the skin. I'm really impressed. My husband came home and said right away "what do you have on your face.. it looks great". If the hubby and Mother in-law liked it so far and noticed right away there was something different than that's good in my book! I hope you try it.

ohhh you have me intrigued- is that the korres other one? I love new foundtions! :o)
