ELP not reconvening 1999–2000 for an early 70s style concept record and major tour is perhaps one of the greatest upsets in progressive music history. I can't believe they knew that Black Moon wasn't up to their level and their plans to reinstate their position in the progressive music world never came to fruition. DEVASTATING! They were all on the same page too. What could have possibly went wrong?? ELP forever!

Saw ELP for the first time in Sao Paulo in 1997...what a gig...they did film the Rio gig to show on cable TV,fantastic!

Tell me about it. I was only 9 when ELP disbanded in 1998, and it's such a shame that the band didn't last until the earl 2000's when I really started getting into the music.
