The photograph itself is quite disturbing. I do think there is more to this then just a simple 'paranormal entity' but right now I'm a bit too freaked out to go into it. I have, after all, been sitting in the dark watching a scary film.

If you see the original photo,its the same shot.Same hair,same angle,he's even leaning the same way.It's very sad that so many opportunists made a lot of money off the deaths of this family and the 'supernatural' coverup of the true nature of the killings.But then I guess that was all part of the cover-up.
Sorry, didn't intend to rain on anyones parade but it is important to be accurate in these matters. The only way that paranormal investigation can be taken seriousley is to be highly critical of the evidence. I grew up surrounded by "mediums" and "pshychics" and I have seen first hand how a need to believe can convince almost anyone into seeing what they want to see. That being said I have seen some very convincing things.
The photo is actually of Lorain Warren, a "demonologist" who peered around the corner as the timer on the camera went off. The glowing eyes are the flash reflecting in her glasses. Not really an intentional fake, but she nor her late husband never admitted it. The Warrens are so wrapped up in their own legend that they have created about themselves that listening to her speak about thier lives is cringe worthy. It's just emarrasing at this point.
@killerNC17 She is leaning forward out of the doorway, and that would put several feet between her and the railing. Given that Lorain Warren is actually quite diminutive, and the camera angle being somewhat low, it gives the impression that the head is on the stairs and not in the doorway behind.
@killerNC17 If you look at the floor plan of the house you will see what I am referring to. Magnify the photo and look at the hairline, and Lorain Warren's hairline at the time of the investigation. Look at the shape of the glowing eyes and think about camera flash and glass. It would be great if the photo were authentic, but it's not.

i remember watching the documentary about the amityville house and murders and there was no child in the house when that pic was taken it was actually taken the night a medium visited thew house to do a clearing of evil.x
