That was a question, by the way. Capitalism - AS IT HAS ALWAYS EXISTED - is a system completely and utterly dependent upon a state-enforced legal system which crafts the rules of property in ways which benefit those who already control it (it being the property, although those who control it also control the state). Modern example: the new IP protection laws the political/economic elite is attempting to force through Congress.
Is being forced, by the circumstances of incarceration, to perform sexual acts in return for the basic needs of survival (such as physical protection), a form of "voluntary transaction."
Mises' Liberalism would also be a good book to offer them. It's short and clear, and the title might attract some readers who are not predisposed to reading a book that defends capitalism. The Liberty Fund edition is around $10 per copy.

It seems that some of the protesters do not understand that more government is the problem, not the solution.

That guy who picked up a copy immediately, was that a YALtern, or one of the protesters?

I think that drumming is designed to reduce your capacity for rational thought.

@Gamermatt99 It could happen, and it could even change their mind. That's what we want.

Great job guys! I walk by this group everyday, and was considering taking some of my own books there too.
