This was the era when the lamos shoe was in it's prime. I loved the bit of the video at the start when it follows the lamos shoes down the road. Actually it could well have been Dingle Road by Mrs Thomsons. Mind you if you stepped in dog mess in these it was a nightmare to get it out. Sometimes the hosepipe was needed, unless it was white dog mess that would have been rare at this present time due to the diet in the 70's.
