I really enjoy watching your videos, as I am a trapper to in northern saskatchewan. I was kinda wondering why you shoot the animals in the head when you dispatch them. I shoot them behind the front shoulder. I find that when shot in the head, when skinning they never stop bleeding, and the fur gets really bloody. When shot in the ribs, you can plug the hole, and don't get as much blood on the hide. I use a .22 way cheaper to fire..
Well done,hard work in a hard land.But you out there putting in the time not sitting on your ass like some of these tree huggers.My boys are out trapping now,we live in new zealand and they are trapping possum,not like U S possum but bigger.They pluck the fur only and its good money at $135.00NZ A kilogram.

where has ebon been? doing all the work your selfe. be careful a little accident by yourselfe can be verry bad. i know you know. but be careful a guy by my house a fellow hunter. just went to canida on a hunt and wont be comeing back allive .he fell of a cliff and died
@Scrap5000 my trapline is on governemt of the northwest territories and the south slave land.another words its thousand of miles of bush, muskeg,trees and a lot of animals.so public land i guess but i own that trapline it from 30 - 45 miles next winter i would like to do 2 lines each 40 miles.
