I really don't see what's with the hate for Gus.  He's a much cleaner player than Zakk, and as a guitarist, I can say his stuff is harder to play. I guess some people miss pinch harmonics more than others. :/

Everybodies entitled to their own opinion. Which is great. Can you imagine if we all had the same opionio? The same tastes? The same outlook at everything? It would be a fucking boring monotonous life. With that being said, and as far as the Zakk, Gus G or Randy Rhodes better guitarist conflict. They are all great guitarists in their own right. Different styles. Different influences. But with one thing in common. They loved (love) music.

Yeah like many have said. I think Zack is a awesome guitar player but with all those pinch harmonics that he would use it was a bit excessive, way over done! This guy Gus doesn't do all that and I think it sounds much better this way. Randy didn't play like that...that guy was the greatest!

@mxpirate I think the over-played harmonics from Zakk were his way of leaving his mark..you can recognize Zakk instantly as you would Van Halen or Randy...but Gus is not doing that. In my opinion his just playing it note for note and its sounds boring, kind of what a cover band guitarist will do...when you are giving the chance to play for Ozzy you have to separate yourself from a long list of fucking awesome musicians ..the bar is too high..he needs to leave his mark...hope u know what im sayin

Compared to Ozzy's previous bands this sucks. This drummer sounds so fucking boring. Randy Castillo was way better and Jake E Lee owns Gus G. Gus G is very good but something just doesn't sound right.
