  • i think i was on this flight lol

  • So did they enter Europe over Le Havre?

  • @travelplus1 IIRC pretty much so, yes. To be honest, I was asleep at that point, but the routing turned out just like the captain had explained

  • I noticed that there was no personal screens in the seats. That is a bummer. Delta should upgrade their entertainment systems on their long haul aircraft. The days of looking at a tv monitor on the celling of the aircraft are well over!

  • @08687435701 I guess you're right, they lag behind industry standard there. However, I would always trade inseat screens for friendlier (and prettier) F/A's, better food and service. Looking out an aircraft window is still the best entertainment for me after all :)

  • @pepshmere Is that a 767-300? If so then it is now equipped with PTV'S.

  • @Greatshow09 affirm, 763ER. A friend of mine just recently flew STR-ATL on this very airplane - no PTVs. I guess they are in the process of refurbishing all the cabins but haven't completed all of them just yet.

  • @pepshmere Yeah, next summer it should be complete.

  • @pepshmere The way they have it is that their 763's (not ER) have PTV's but they generally fly domestic high demand routes (such as JFK-LAX), the ER version (the one that they use internationally) currently does not feature PTV's on most aircraft, however they are in the process of installing winglets (the wing extensions that go up to save fuel) and PTV's on all their 767's. Currently such 763ER's are used on routes longer than 11 hours.

  • @sviridovt thanks for clarifying that!

  • @08687435701 my flight to florida we had personal tv screens in the seats but I had to sleep from hawaii to salt lake city and from salt lake city to Florida most of the time of the flight

  • Future Delta Pilot hopefully :)

  • @aviator147 good luck! Delta is one of the better US airlines

  • It's always ATL-FCO or CDG for me.

  • @calessassracer For me it's DHN-ATL-STR for me. It used to be DHN-ATL-AMS-STR back in the day using DL38 and DL39 before Delta split the two flights, now I use DL116 and DL117.

  • where were you comming from

  • @EmbraerERJ190fan1 that would be Sacramento, CA (SMF) after 2 wonderful weeks in California

  • the one pilot in the back wil be taking your drink order, and is available for a round of poker to suplement his income, if you would like to play or need a drink ask him, he does wok on tips, so be nice to him and enjoy the flight.

  • Any boys had colored umderwear on

  • iflew a qantas 767 before it was the noisiest journey of my life !

  • okay.

  • Thanks you for clearing up that confusion.

  • I was asking if the PTVs when you flew back were on a 767 or a A330, because in the post were discussed both.

  • Is that on the 763ER or A330?

  • 767-300ER look at the description

  • I was asking if the PTVs when you flew back were on a 767 or a A330, because in the post were discussed both.

  • I've flown the 763ER many times and never complained much about the noise. Then again I use my noise cancelling head-set. Now correct me if I'm wrong but the 767 and A330 are not in the same class, as the A330 competes against the 777. Also the A330 is younger. And the 767 competes against the A300. Right?

  • @bryanb16th it's so anoying that they didn't put monitors in every seat. I've flown with a330 three times and they had in every seat. Does 763ER really doesn't have monitors in every seat???

  • the plane loooks pretty

  • Which aircraft/service did you prefer? I Personally love Delta and the 767-332ER is one of my favs. NW. hum. heard service is not that great, also on the a330 in econom you there are four seats in the middle.

  • Why was the flight delayed this day?

  • @bryanb16th not sure actually. I think the plane had gone tech and showed up late at the gate.

  • Okay. Thanks for the info.

  • what no personal TV screens on this long haul flight!!??

  • Negative. Most of the Delta long haul aircrafts have 'em nowadays, the 763s however not for the most part. Not a big problem though, and honestly some PTVs just suck (like on the Continental 764).

  • Yes, Con's PTV in eonom are very small and not that great. But again it's better than nothing.

  • @pepshmere Not anymore, now most Delta aircraft have PTVs. Also those old seats look very uncomfortable...

  • @SouthAfricanAirways1 agreed, most of them. The 763, however, not. But I will be flying STR-ATL in less than 2 weeks on the 763 so I'll see how the current state is. So look out for new videos in late September :) The seats are ok btw.

  • berty no joke right...hell I fly frontier everywhere because they have direct tv!!!!!!!!!!

  • @AUgrad00 but their service SUCKS!

  • @iflydelta1101: Frontier service sucks? Their service is what they're known for. My friend flew Frontier on numerous occasions, and he says it's some of the best service he's ever seen on an airline (and he is a frequent flyer).

  • @bertyblue dude i travel india to japan on a 310 with barely functional normal tv's..... trust me, this is atleast livable....

  • cool

  • I have Airshow on my Private plane and you can set it up to show your house with a line drawn from the left or right of the plane
