Perhaps the children's smiles don't look like a natural 'happy' but has anyone considered that they are very young and maybe playing a first public performance? The first time I sang in a simple karaoke bar I was shaking from stage fright. These kids are incredibly talented and I didn't feel 'creeped out' watching at all... in fact enjoyed their playing immensely and wish I could play a fraction as well as they can! btw some of the comments here are quite nasty... jealous of their talent maybe?
