    No mention of the Mellotron Mk II master himself, Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues? He's the one who introduced it to the Beatles. No one took the Mellotron to the heights that Pinder did. He inspired me to purchase an M400 in the seventies. Wish I still had it. :(

  • Pinder took out the rhythm tapes and replaced them with another set of top keyboard instrument tapes to increase the playable length of any note.
