@SoloarisGaming I thought that when I first got it mate, but actually after 2 days of playing, I would never go back to a normal controller (unless MH4 came out on PS3 or something lol). You tilt the Wii remote for different types of attacks, and you use the Nunchuck for mobility, its actually really simple! I hope you get! :P

@5thkie The strongest attack I've seen on my character was about 1,140. That was without Attack Up(L), with Sharpness +1, with Attack Jewels and Claws., and with the Devils Crush Hammer. I'm sure your attack can be a lot higher than that.

@kickingkid74 this game just loses its fun when you play with noobs. I was playing with some high levels, even though Im HR 22 I am pretty much as good as these guys - we were trying to kill Rathian, there was a HR 10 who didnt know how to dodge or interpret patterns, she backs up when she getting ready to flip, but no the idiot just keeps on attacking like an idiot and uses up all 3 of our deaths. We tried again, I KO her and tried to set a trap and he knocked me out of the way with his hammer.

@wazman He is weak to Thunder and Dragon Element. Some good sets for your first few times against him are: Dober (Lots of Defense and Dragon Resistance), Barioth+ (for the Evade+2) and Agnaktor+ (w/a good lance).

@metorrex I recommend any high rank Dragon or Thunder element weapon you have (ex: High Undertaker, Lagiacrus weapons, etc.).

Then some great armor for your first times fighting him are: Dober, Agnaktor (Lances), Lagiacrus (Element Att Up), Barioth+ (Evade)

@purpleownz176 Yes. You just need to get those Dragonbone Relics. You can get them from starting out in the secret area of Tundra. To do that, look for the Felyne Skill: Felyne Explorer, when you eat food.

@megaboy28 One trick that is useful is to go on a quest where cutting the tail off of Rathalos is one of the Sub-Quests. Simply cut his tail off, carve, then return to camp and end via sub-quest. You may even get a Plate as a reward. Works great for Rubies too.

@Godotcoffeestorm Yes, it is probably soe of the best armor you can make before fighting Alatreon and having access to Helios+ and Vangis. It works great with GS and Hammers. Other great armor to make is Agnaktor Armor for lances.

@TheStarvingFood Well, when you fight the monsters those materials come from, be sure to always break their parts (Rathian: wings, cut tail, Gigi: head, rear, underside) and then hope for the best. The drop rates for these items are low, so it will take a while.

@zcvhzd Well, I found the best armor to use against him is armor that has Evade skill. For example: Barioth, LR Peco or just some Lightfoot Jewels. Also, a Lance works really well against him. Essential items: Dragonfell Berry, Drugged/Tainted/Poisoned Meat, Traps, Tranqs.

Yeah I keep taking more damage when I fight deviljho I have the same armor maxed out dober it should have +40 to dragon and each piece has 78 defense I also use adamant pills and eat meat and dairy before the quest so my defense is about 423 when I fight deviljho I want to know how cone that dragon blast thing Is a 1 hit KO to me with full health
