Wow. Talk about child abuse. He was 4 years old and some are blaming him for the cancellation of an entire series. If only he had used his powers for good instead of evil. Question is, whose a child and whose just acting childish. Actually, "acting childish" is an insult to children.
The producers should have just accepted that the ratings were getting lower and let the show close with a little dignity. Nothing against the kid, he's a cutie, but I hate when TV shows make a kid this young act like a cynical adult.

I like david's way of having his fashion with wavy and long hair. even though skinned head's popular to men, i'm still imitating his style of hair now and then. Yes, of course I won't call him a girl despite of girly-looking face.
@gertie1999 I didn't mean david is a girl. my point there is that, being a super handsome guy with his long and and wavy hair, he is look like a beautiful girl specially when he smiles. but actually, I already know he is really a guy as he behaves just a truly guy. he has a girly-looking face that makes me idolize him during popular days. with regards to ricky, i was deceived on his girly-face-looking and realized he is a boy. that was the special physical features of david that i mostly like.
This episode with ricky shot this show right in the ass as far as respect, dignity and most of all RATINGS. Why the hell did they need this kid who wasnt a contribution in any way to the Partridge Family and their following. He was probably the producers nephew or something assinine like that and by installing him they pretty much ruined the show forever. Now all these years later after the damage is done the little bastard is nowhere to be found. Sad.

I had the hots for Ronne Troup, who played Ricky's sister. She also played Chip's wife, Polly, on My Three Sons and Lesley on Danger Island opposite Jan Michael Vincent (on the Banana Splits). Sigh.
Ricky Segal did make an album......and it features the Song "You Can Do It" as seen in this Partrige show episode. The album cover has a head and shoulder shot of Ricky when he only 5 yrs. old.......

Ricky Segall didn't even last until the end of that season and was never featured in the opening credits.
