No one's right, no one's wrong, it's people's opinions and I personally think Pink Floyd are one of the greatest acts to have ever lived. But I think Oasis ARE the best to have ever lived. Both are truely amazing in my eyes!

HIs voice has gotten much better(listen to the 2009 Argentina recordings), and he has always sung better acoustically.

A very raw and marvelous performance here by Liam. I do think his voice has changed.....but he still sounds great. No many singers here in the States have the balls to risk singing acoustic in the setting that Liam did here. No, here in the States we have a great deal of fakers who appear "live" with their voices electronically doctored to sound a lot better than what they are actually capable of.

I love Oasis. They have the best sound of any band since the Beatles. Period. Oasis represents REAL rock-n-roll to me. I've seen them live twice (I wish they didn't dislike coming to America as much as they apparently do) and I truly believe even "non Oasis fans" who are at least true rock-n-roll fans would enjoy one of their shows. I mean, who on earth couldn't get off on a song like 'Champagne Supernova?"

There´s something called "subjectivity", apart from that thing called "quality" (which groups like Pink Floyd have much more than Oasis, however catchy and cool they might be).

You´re insulting me for being biased about something you too are biased about, in a different way! Here´s the thing, though: I was merely saying that calling any one band "the best ever" is quite simply stupid, as there´s no objective way to compare music, aside from our own personal tastes. I, as someone who plays the bass and have over 3000 songs on my itunes, all of them good at least for me, tell you: I don´t like Oasis that much, and I think we cant agree on a best group ever, ever.

Pink floyd r disgusting. & quality isnt defined by how fast u can solo or if u can stretch out a clock chime for 86 hours like pink floyd do. At the end of the day its matter of opinion & no-one's right & no-one's wrong. But that subjectivity thing ur talking about? Of course how fast you can solo has very little to do with quality! If that was the case, I´d have mentioned a group like Dream Theater or Spastic Ink. But no, I´d say music is about talent and more importantly EMOTION (feeling) both of which I think PF has, and has a hell of a lot. But now we´re again separating from my main point, that music is too subjective to call any group the best ever. I guess I never should have mentioned any group other than Oasis here, to not get flamed...

Pink Floyd don't do fast guitar solos. Almost all their solo are slow melodic and beautiful. 3 minutes of music? what the hell are you on about, have you ever listened to a Pink Floyd album. They are far better musically and lyricly than Oasis.

lol with the discussion. PF is my favorite band, OTOCON, of course I love them and their legacy beyond belief. And the Wall wasn´t their legacy, it was, in any case, Roger WAters´ legacy. PF legacy would be Dark Side of the Moon, even though I don´t even consider it their best album (Wish You Were Here would be it to me), just their most influential.
