boring design freeway, YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THE 210-710 INTERCHANGE in Los Angeles and the 210-2 interchange, and the 210 -134 interchange in Los Angeles -GlendALE, the columns here are are not viewworthy, but you should look at the I-8- I-805 interchange in San Diego, Very beautiful columns and metal rails and concrete quality.

@topshoptights Seen all the Interchange you speak of. if you combine up all the Interchanges you speak of together, cramming them in the same area, then multiply the size of them all by 20x, they still doesn't even come close to the High Five's Size and lane miles. sorry.

@topshoptights Maybe you can relate to this since you're from the L.A. area. Take the I-405- I-110 Interchange, CA's largest and tallest Interchange, multiply it by 5x and you have the Dallas High Five.

I'm from Germany. This interchange is absolutely impressive! In Germany you almost just find cloverleaf interchanges. Such an interchange would never be built in Germany.

@Ryetronics a bike lane or walk path is not counted as a 6th level. i have seen and walked and also have pictures of the path in the bonus video in a response to this video. if the dallas high five had another hov flyover that was seperate it would be counted as a 6th level. the hov is higher that any ramp however, does not have a clearance height more than 120 ft. in fact it is 110ft because the high clearance is restricted by the 635 lanes.

@VPovver the stars represent the state of texas , it is the state symbol , it measures in fact a 4 ft circumference if you were to measure along any point in a straight line to the otherside. some vary but the columns feature that size and there is 710 of them.

@FreewayBrent Its crazier than the LA freeways. I thought LA had crazy interchanges I ve been on the I-10, CA-60, Santa Ana freeway interchange in LA and I thought that was crazy but this even beats LA by 1000 times.

This kind of interchange will never be in Poland because we don't have that many cars in one city. We only need max 4 lvl interchanges - but only in next 10 years it will be reasenable to built them - to much traffic. Thx 4 great video - as always :)) 5/5

This is what I call one kickass interchange, I went to Dallas in fall of '06 but unfortunately never got to see the high five.It simply makes every other 5-stack look like child's play.Awesome video man and keep 'em coming!!!

@Crocfan20: lol, I have to agree with you. The only interchange that really comes close to this is the I-105/I-110 interchange in Los Angeles (I live nearby it), but I think the "High 5" has the edge, thanks to the better aesthetics.

@FreewayBrent the reason behind the aesthetics is mentioned in the video , its not for its looks. if were talking about pure height texas features the 4 tallest interchanges in the usa behind the judge harry pregerson in los angeles, although i agree with you about the statement, the interchanges features no aesthetic features within. ofcourse it has a elevator, but if were talking about pure height , texas has this 120' ft 115' ft 113' ft and 2 110' ft tall interchanges.

That's an epic interchange, especially from the frontage roads. This is just interesting infrastructure and TXDOT really did a fantastic job on the interchange ramps, frontage roads, and HOV lanes. This is just AMAZING. I just need to go down there and film Texas, even though I'll not go that way this year. Impressive work, well done.

This was a great, in-depth video on the High Five. Many, many times better than the parclo interchange it replaced. I can still remember the awful exit ramp from EB 635 to NB 75.
