  • I wish i could afford to do this

  • fuckin loser...childhood memories are a roll of pennies lmao

  • waist of 2 cents

  • this is illegal, you are defacing money. even though they are worthless....

  • every dumass that says this is not cool just because you brake money sucks just relaxe

  • its only illegal to deface money and then put it back into circulation

  • You Sound Like Daneboe! XD

  • nice leather man

  • @WorldScott are you from the south. if so, where?

  • Kinda retarted

  • If you want to destroy money, send it to me, I'll keep it safe for you, in my bank account ....lol

  • If I am correct defacing H.M. coinage IS illegal and you can be prosecuted for it. Maybe not so in the USA, but sure enough in the UK. Read Isaac Newton, master of The Mint and see what he used to dish out to people who 'shaved' coinage !!!! lol Good vid though.

  • now you can sell those for 2 penies

  • This toy is illegal .. I cant afford it anyway

  • it's kinda like what obama is doing, except on a much much smaller scale

  • for all you dumb fucks out there pennies are not legal tender this is no law about defacing pennies stores don't even have to take your pennies actually like if you try to buy something that is 10 dollars in all pennies they can say no that's why the penny presses are everywhere and we don't have quarter presses so stop complaining about it your all stupid that think it is illegal

  • Cool

  • Funny thing is 3 feet away from me is a multi-tool and 2 feet away is my coin jar lol

  • this looks interesting i think i am going to try it it is so simple yet so cool

  • illegal only if you put it back into circulation ?

  • Surely illegal - cent worth more than cent to produce. Destroying a cent you are stealing from the state...

  • @AKNews99 Like the state hasnt stolen from us

  • Hey! I learnt this trick and do it at every party I go to, trying to impress the ladies.

    Still haven't gotten laid...

So my advice to you all is just don't bother.

  • Destroy the money!

  • So umm...I guess that's your two cents worth. Here's mine: AWESOME TOY!! Also, world's cheapest child minder (kids 5 and up) while you're nearby! :D

  • how much does it cost?

  • GENIUS!

  • brings a new meaning to the phrase "my 2 cents"

  • Are people seriously complaining because this guy made two slight cuts in the most fucking worthless coins in US currency? Fucking morons.

Just because something is a law doesn't mean it is right, or needs to be followed at all costs. Laws are not morality.

  • Are people seriously complaining because this guy made two slight cuts in the most fucking worthless coins in US currency? Fucking morons.

  • My two cents....

  • u cud just roll them on their side..

  • Ok umm THANK YOU!! i make these and senn them for 50 cents each nd i sell about 14 DAILY!

  • The penny press, as bkwilsey said, uses copper blanks. Not the actual penny you put into them, that just makes the illusion of the roller actually using the penny you put into it... I guess the illusion works... I thought only kids thought it was the penny.

  • *starts looking for pennies*

  • @MrHatSpeaks except when it is not. That is why when we go to tourist places in the US we can find those "Penny Press" machines that change a penny into a tourist memento. ^_^

  • @WorldScott Do you really think those machines are pressing the penny you put into it? They are loaded with copper blanks you moron.

  • @WorldScott

  • @WorldScott those pennies are still work in stores!!!

  • @WorldScott Because you pay a quarter or two to make up for the penny you destroyed.

  • @WorldScott Owned.

  • @MrHatSpeaks who cares

  • @MrHatSpeaks as long as he isnt using it to counterfeit any money its legal

  • @MrHatSpeaks Call the Treasury Department and ask them. It's only illegal if you try to use these coins as currency after they were altered. Altering them isn't illegal strictly speaking.

  • @MrHatSpeaks But no one will arrest him unless he tries to spend it

  • @MrHatSpeaks oh no im so scared

  • @MrHatSpeaks melting pennies to get copper is illigal

  • @MrHatSpeaks Es ist nicht Verboten es liegt nur im eigenen intresse du könntest auch dein ganzes vermögen oder so anzünden es ist nicht illegal ^^

  • @MrHatSpeaks who gives a shit man im pretty sure no one has been arrested for sticking two pennies together stop being such a little baby its ok to cut pennies

  • @MrHatSpeaks no defacing money isn't illegal, you can burn, melt or cut money, you just can't try to pass it off as money anymore.

  • it costs 2 pennies to make just one penny

  • wtf is this

  • Its Hours of fun. buy it now for two easy payments of $9.95

  • what a waste of 2 cents

  • @Pokefan528 what can you buy with only 2 cents anyways? air?

  • In the UK, doing this to a Penny is illegal as the coins have the queens face. which makes it a form of treason :(

  • @myreaper101 thats not true

  • Only 2p!

  • But will it blend ?

  • It rolls down stairs alone or in pairs its Slink....I mean Penny Roller!

  • DESTRUCTION OF US CURRENCY!!!!!

  • @themegadwarf its ok to destroy them you just cant destroy them and out them back into circulation

  • ....that was so illegal...

    I WANNA TRY IT!!!!!

  • mommy i want that for christmas...

  • This is against the law you know

  • illegal

  • I LOVE THIS

  • CUTCO Super Shears do this qite well. Want some? Hit me up.

  • @WorldScott Can I just ask what was the bit at the start with the tube for?

Your reply would be extremely appreciated.

  • @JustForKipkay Hey there, it is not actually a tube but in fact it is a roll of pennies wrapped up in paper. When you want to but dollars' worth of pennies at the bank they sell that stacked together and wrapped up in paper like that. :-) I added that because I used to collect such rolls as a child and just loved feeling their weight in my hands.

  • its video is cool i might try it one day

  • LOLz, it took its first steps

  • This is illegal in the UK because it is treason to damage or deface anything with the Queen's head on it. (It is also treason to kill a swan because they are all owned by the Queen)

  • @supercooper92

    .......... alright david brent!!!!

  • You owe me 1:01 of my life back.

  • thats it???

  • isnt this illigal

  • @Randycandy323

    arent you retarded?

  • Nice

  • This is so cool! I'm gunna try this for school!

  • @jinglejangle32142 It is really fun, people's eyes light up when they see how this works! :-)

  • So you're video-taping yourself committing a federal crime...nice, lol

  • @KmancXC nah, it's only a federal crime to cut coins if done for fraudulent purposes. This is why it is nothing to go to tourist areas and find those penny press machines that convert pennies into tourist keepsakes.

  • @WorldScott Oh ya...never though about that before. Well, learn something every day, haha

  • @KmancXC

    heh... dummy

  • @KmancXC kman wrong and vocal about it, nice.

  • at the end when you say "the penny roller" it looks like an ad to buy the penny roller

  • What a wast of money

  • @Spudnic1001 what a waste of a comment.

  • @Spudnic1001 2 cents, jew!

  • @npbeast27 Your really needed to be anti-semetic?

  • @usuckbad2 yes i, in fact, yes i do

  • @npbeast27 well you, you're, a waste of life I hate nazi's.

  • @Spudnic1001 it was 2 pennies!

  • @Spudnic1001 dude its just two fucking cents

  • @Spudnic1001 a waste of spare change that has no use?

  • @Spudnic1001 Yeah, sure was a waste, considering all the things you can buy for 2 cents

  • Haha, creative!

  • @Hotrod5595 Big thumbs up! Thanks!

  • SO MUCH WIN

  • @Henrylouis16 Yes, Thank you!

  • arghhh english coins are soooo hard to cut... i am using that thingy he showed in the vid.....

  • @wikidlover you can alternatively use a hack saw. When it comes time to twist the coins just find a solid solt on the ground or the wall to hold one of the coins and use the tool to twist the other one. Hope that helps!

  • @gimmelgimmel There's no United States law that has been broken here. It is only illegal to modify currency when done for fraudulent purposes. This is why it is common to find those press-a-penny machines that convert a penny into some tourist theme at tourist trap places.

  • why?

  • @jin455 it's a fun conversation starter. Make one and show it to someone and you'll see.

  • I cut them and put them together but I haven't the strength to bend them to where they're roll-able.

  • @sentrix234 find a slot in the wall or on the ground that will hold one of the pennies and then use the tool to twist the other one. That's what I do. Just find something solid to put one of the pennies into so that you can twist the other one.

  • I love stuff like this, will have to give it a try with my girls.

  • @sciwalk Watch as their eyes light up when they see the coins roll! It is so suprising!

  • Hey there! Your YouTube name is cool! I'm a big fan of all things robot!
