The funny thing about this is that Eddie Murphy is still working and had huge successes after this skit. Spade hasn't done anything great, or nothing he ever did was great to begin with. However, I think the grudge is ridiculous. Move on already, Eddie.

@fanblow Eddie Murhpy hasnt done anything good since Beverly Hills Cop in '84. Every movie since then has been a flop with the exception of 48 hours 2 in '90, which wasnt near as good as the first 48hrs in '82. Eddie has consistantly went down hill since this skit. Spade has done considerably better with: Facts of life, Baywatch, more SNL, Coneheads(huge hit), Reality Bites, Tommy Boy(huge hit), 8 Heads n a Dufflebag, Beavis n Butthead, Joe Dirt(huge hit), Just shoot me, 8 Simple rules,....

@fanblow Emperor's New Groove, Father Of The Bride, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rules Of Engagement, Grownups, Police Academy..The list goes on and on. I could fill this page up. Spade won many awards, including a couple of Golden Globes plus others...not to mention being nominated countless times for various awards for TV and theatre. Murphy hasnt been near as successful as Spade since Beverly Hills Cop in '84. That is exactly why Murphy has been the target of critics and fellow comedians. He sucks.

@STALKERSsuck10 UH, yes Eddie Murphy has had huge successes after this. You need to do more research. For your info Coneheads, Reality Bites, and Tommy Boy were also major flops. They are cult films now, but they weren't successful at the box office. You obviously never watched any of Eddie Murphy's material. Also, David Spade was not in the original Police Academy, he was in Part 4 which sucked. Eddie Murphy has also won awards including Golden Globe and nominated for an Oscar.

He's won several awards, and was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actor in Dream Girls.....honestly, what were you thinking?
