It's not all about brutal and heaviness, it narrates certain parts of the Bible, New World Order, a new Anti-Christ soon to come. It's truly deepening that a Death Metal band would do such a thing... in every single song. It's all connecting, and you guys should seriously inspect the lyrics and compare it to the Revelations.

George Kollias not only said that he doesn't think triggers is cheating, but he recommends them...

You NEED triggers to distinguish the individual bass drum beats after about 200 ish bpm..

Triggers isn't cheating unless you manipulate the sensitivity to make even the slightest tap sound like your slamming on the drums. Thats the only way you can cheat with triggers..
