  • in 1973 a group called the singing echoes recorded that song and it went # 1

  • Hammel was such a great showman. I saw them many times and always had a GREAT time.

  • Is that Time Lovelace at 0:24?

  • Elridge won't have to keep looking at his watch!

  • I think this was the best group of the Kingsman Quartet ever.

  • at 2:55 watch anthony burger make that piano talk. God rest his soul

  • i could possibly bet if i was a betting man that Anthony burger, Big Jim Hammill and foxy fox is having a time in heaven

  • @grandolegospelman22 Big Jim passed away? When?

  • @CathedralsRecords

    Couple year ago

  • @BassSingerNC Thanks, I didn't know.

  • Fox refers to 'Big and Live', that album is full of Kingsmen classics; I posted elsewhere that it is still one of the best Live albums in SG history.....

  • SoulsHarbor1st

Is Johnny Parrack of the Kingsmen the one they called "Squeaky"?

  • @SoulsHarbor1st no, Garry Sheppard was 'squeaky'.......

  • @SoulsHarbor1st Sure is

  • wow, this is sooooooo great. I loved Jim Hamill, Anthony is a legend, Foxy, and Johnny was the absolute best ever!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a great 'ole song. Anthony Burger can make that piano talk...Gwen Weaver

  • I like how they have the grand piano have the classic sound.

  • Still gives me chills. Nothing out there matches it today and this is not even close to their prime.

  • I love the hippie on 2:09

  • I think he is cool looking too lol

  • Does Johnny hit a high G5 at the end of this?

  • Was a HUGE loss to Southern Gospel when Anthony Burger died. (the piano player) Died young too! He is playing in heaven now!!

  • that piano player is in to it!

  • What a video. Anthony Burger is just fantastic as always. Is that Tim Lovelace that I see on the front row there??? Ray Reese the best bass singer along with Tim that sings with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. Good Group Thanks for posting.

  • thats Tim

  • Wow this was back when Anthony Burger was into Samick pianos!

  • Samick: One of the worst foreign guitar makers. I have a Samick electric, and the plug-in for the lead doesn't fit properly, so you have to be careful when you play so the lead doesn't fall out. If you're looking for a good foreign budget guitar, try a Cort.

  • than you i love this song

  • JUST GREAT 5**** love me some KINGSMEN where you get all the good tapes?
