How to do the 12Volt Fan mod on the Xbox 360

I hooked mine up to a switch and put it at the back and so at long nights of COD just flip that switch

We have found out the hard way that splicing wires on the DVD Drive power cable to run a 12 volt fan can cause the RROD. Go to google and type in Airflow Cables

do you have to plug the other two wires back up or can you saughter them together i cut all wires off of plug by accident

I have the slim and I was wondering if I cut the blue wire on the fan will it run @12v?
